Both fouls looks borderline dirty to me. Didn't he have one against Utah during the regular season, or was that Lopez?

Phil Jackson is now accusing Nash of carrying the ball all the time, so the war of words is in full swing now.

In a van...down by the river.
"Basketball is a sport that involves the subtle interweaving of players at full speed to the point where they are thinking and moving as one."
An outstanding quote from PJ back when he wasn't enamored with himself.

Anymore his act is just tiring and silly....i can honestly say that i don't know if i feel that he's still a great HC.

Lopez had a legit flagrant 2 on AK. I was surprised he wasn't suspended since it reminded me a bit of what Fortson did to Zarko.

Frye's haven't been bad at all. Mostly just body contact where he didn't even come down hard. Think the only reason he got the calls was because the other players landed hard.

He doesn't come down hard, but he conspicuously goes for the neck and shoulders. That's just asking for a flagrant.

I noticed that too, but I don't recall that being the case on the fouls that were actually called as flagrant.

Offhand it's hard to think of a worse foul committed than the foul Fortson committed on Zarko but my mind does go back to Kermit Washington punching Rudy Tomjanovich which is the all time low.

Kermit's had a greater impact but it was a somewhat understandable reaction by Washington. In the heat of the moment he felt and peripherally saw someone charging at him and he reacted. Keep in mind, punches thrown in an athletic surrounding (any sport) were much more common in those days.

Fortson's foul was blatant and dangerous. Rodman had one late in his career against Harpring that little was made of but was just as dangerous as the Fortson foul. Actually, I think the foul by Starks on Marion was the dirtiest foul I've seen in my 400 years of watching the NBA but being a notorious homer probably influences how high up I'd rate it.

Oh I think they know his name by now. It's hard not to know somebody's name when they've been stinking it up like Frye.

I really hope Frye can step up tonight and tell Artest in his face "You gonna know my name tonight!". Let's shoot the lights out.

Oh, and tell Ron that his rap album SUCKS. That should fire him up. lol
