I just finished watching the first one - Episode 4

Things I liked:

- Han Solo - that guy ruled!! Harrison Ford was hot, and him and that hairy carpet monster made me laugh!
- Obiwan - Awesome old dude
-R2D2 - He was my favorite non human. Him and that Gold guy were like a frickin married couple! I didn't like the gold guy as much

Things I didn't like:

- Luke..... at first. I started to grow on me - we'll see where he goes.
- How easily the Obiwan was able to get to the tractor beam things.. seemed too easy
- The lightsaber fight between Obiwan and Darth Vader. I don't know how old Darth is, but Obiwan really looked his age. Although I did enjoy the light saber sound!

Overall it was an interesting movie. I hope Han Solo is in the next one, I really like him. I honestly don't know what the next one is about so if he's not in the movie, don't laugh ok. I mean they gave him a medal and all, so I would hope so.

I am going to go watch Episode 5 now. I will report later!

PS - the Princess is kind of a bitch... I like her!

Ok, I just watched Episode 5 - The Empire Strikes Back

Right when I saw the credits I yelled, "THAT'S IT!?!?"

I wanted more!

What happens to Han Solo!??!?!?! (dont answer that)

I really enjoy the Princess and Han bickering back and forth, and I was really happy when they kissed! I am so afraid that Han is dead, or that they wont find eachother again!

The "Luke I am your father part" probably would have been cooler if I didn't know that coming in, but that's what I get for having not seen these movies yet.

Ok the gold guy NEEDS to go - he's such a frickin whiner! And I LOVE Chewy! He's friggin awesome.

Yoda was interesting....

Stuff I liked:
- The kiss between the princess and Hans
- The light saber fight between Luke and Vader
- Yoda and his "do or don't do.. there is no try" speech
- r2d2 is the man!! or robot i guess

Stuff I didn't like:
- That gold guy... what a frickin annoying character!
- That I didn't find out what happened to Han!! (hopefully the next episode will tell me)

I liked this one better than the first.. probably because I was used to the characters and was more emotionall involved. And this one had a lot of action, too.

I'm off to go watch Episode 6!

Ok, just finished watching Episode 6!

I am SO glad Han Solo was saved!! Whew!!

I thought it was an interesting twist that the Princess was Luke's sister. But the first thought that came to mind was... ew they kissed in episode 5!!! Gross!!!

I thought the Darth Vader saving his son part was AWESOME! I honestly wasn't sure what was going to happen, so this was a nice surprise.

Those muppet/goonie things were cute but kind of annoying.

That fat slug guy, Jabba the Hut, I wanted to punch in the face he was so annoying! Glad he died!

Liked:
Darth Vader/Luke scenes
the kissing between Han and the princess! :)
the fighting spaceship scenes

Disliked:
Some of the movie was long and drawn out, like the goonie scenes and stuff
That Darth Died :( But I guess it was a fitting way to die
THat I didnt see more action between the princess and Han
And that I wasn't shown what happened to R2D2!!!!

Anyways, I will probably watch Episode 1 and 2 sometime this week since the rental is for a week.

I enjoyed the 3 films, not my kind of movie for the most part, but it was definitely entertaining! Good stuff, BIM!!

Keep in mind, barring Lucas' recent tampering with the films, that these films are respectively 27, 24, and 21 years old. All older than you. :D

I know! I was very impressed with the graphics! Even the storm trooper go-kart things were cool!

So episode 1 and 2 are pre-cursors to the movies I saw today, right?

Who does it talk about? Like who are the characters and stuff - what kind of stuff can I expect?

I could probably look this all up, but I'd rather hear it from the master himself lol

The first movies are prequels, yes.

They follow a young Anakin Skywalker and everything that happens to him up until he becomes Vader.

Jedis galore, including digital Yoda (voiced by Frank OZ), Samuel L. Jackson as Mace Windu, Liam Neeson as Qui-Gon Jinn, Ewan McGregor as Obi-wan Kenobi, Jake Lloyd as Anakin Skywalker. Also has Natalie Portman as Queen Amidala and Ray Park as one of the coolest villains ever...Darth Maul.

Many cool things about the prequels and many frustrating things as well. The lightsaber scenes are incredible, pod-racing is cool, but Jar Jar? :bang: And there's more regarding the origin of that gold guy you like so much. :D

The second prequel focuses on a little older Anakin and his relationship with his master, Obi-wan, and his love interest, Amidala, and of course the Clone Wars which were first discussed in Episode IV.

Hmmm, neat! I think I am most interested in hearing about Obi-wan Kenobi as a youngin! He was super cool.

Thanks BIM!

Can you tell me what movie and what scene can I watch the storm trooper bump his head? And are there any other cool things you can tell me, or websites that have a list of funny things to look for? I love stuff like that!

Also, how old is Luke during episode 4? And how much time, in relation to the star wars universe, goes by between each episode?

During the first movie when they're in the Death Star (aka, the big metal ball that shoots planets.) Remember the scene when the droids are in that control room while the others are off galavanting around and a whole bunch of stormtroopers come in to the room? One of the ones in back hits his head.
