Actually, I think that is more Lucas's fault than Hayden. I think the talent was there to make him the right Vader-in-waiting.

From everything I've heard this movie should make up for I & II. Even the purists are comparing it favorably (and some even MORE favorably) to ESB.

I watched ESB yesterday with my daughter (her seeing it for the first time). It wasn't only a nostalgia trip for me, but also an introspective one.

The dude who plays Annikan in Episode II is HORRIBLE.

I remember seeing ALL of these movies in the theater. I remember being young and having to wait, oh, how many years, BIM, for Episode I to come out. We felt like we would die before then, LOL!

This thread brings back memories.

Oh, and Kate, you would LOVE this thing my sister has. It's an R2D2 toy that is one foot high and you push buttons and he makes all his R2D2 sounds. The best one is when he gets fired and makes that long sound like he's blowing up. It's awesome!

everyone was saying the same exact thing about those movies before they came out also. Call me a skeptic, but I will assume it will suck and hope to be surprised due to EXTREMELY low expectations.

Sadly enough, I anticipate many more scenes like Darth Vader saying I don't like sand because it is rough but I like you because you are not like sand.

Or the gratuitous bare midriff of Queen what's her face in one of the battle scenes. How was it again how her uniform stays clean bit is ripped just enough to show the belly button?

Thanks I'm glad you had fun reading it - I had a lot of fun watching the movies, definitely some cool stuff!

And YES that r2d2 toy sounds AWESOME!! Do they still make it? Cuz I really want one lol

It doesn't even belong on a dvd as a blooper.

What has Lucas done to the once great SW universe?
