We will probably take a WR in the draft, but it more than likely will not be with the #26 pick. Teams pick receivers in the 1st round to have them eventually become the #1 or at worst the #2 during their rookie year. We have both a bona fide #1 and #2. On top of that Early Doucet is developing well and if he stays healthy, he will make the departure of Q less painful.

Also, there is a lot of hope for Onrea Jones and Ed Gant. I dont know much about Mougey but I think he's more camp fodder.

That makes 6 receivers total. Take a flyer on one in the 6th or 7th round and grab a couple as UDFAs IMO.

Meanwhile, we only have 4 ILBs on the roster with Gerald Hayes as the only noteworthy player. Since it does not seem like we're going to sign another one in free agency, my assumption is that we are banking on a starter type being there at #26

Mitch, I luv that draft my man. Tate is a stud WR, NFL ready & very atheltic. But there is no way we will take Tate at #26 with the deficiencies we still have defensively.

Trust me, Bucky, we will if he's there. Hey we had defensive holes last year and Whiz took BPA at #31 in Beanie.

The draft is deep, needs can be addressed later. Whiz counts on this.

Barring the injury slowing him down noticeably, Keith Bulluck is a stud. Part of what made the Titans defense so good during the 2000's.

Not that it matters, but this guy was a mainstay as an IDP in my yahoo fantasy leagues for god knows how many years.

Bring him in. He probably can't get a huge contract. I'd sign him as-is for 5+ a year. Would hope to get him for less though.

May or may not be ready at the start of the season. But by the end of it? For the playoffs potentially? Probably a pretty good shot.

Teams don't want to spend 5+ million of cap space for a guy who might not play for them early in the season and might not participate in training camp. But there is NO cap. So...take a shot.

This guy is a stud. I'd take a shot at him. This is the sort of guy you give such a shot to.

Well put, 88!

The thing is...sign him to a 3 year deal with major incentives. Bulluck will play again and he will be very good again. I love the idea of having him and DRC rehab together. Even if we have to wait for him until after the bye week, he could galvanize this defense in ways we haven't seen in quite a while.
