Have you actually listened to the comments either time he has shared them?
No, I just made it up in mind as I was listening to Bobby Womack.

He says he feels Kyler has what it takes to be a leader and he has shown some progress, but in his opinion (which he and others are entitled to have, right?) he feels Kyler needs to grow up and be a man. Step up even more and be a strong leader. He says he feels he has it in him.

Everyone took the comment about growing up and ran with it which is the only reason he repeated it when asked about it in another interview. Personally, I like a guy like Beachum who says what he feels and doesn't back down or try to redefine what he previously said. He said what he said and he stands behind it.
Yea, you like the high school female mindset of gossiping & airing out dirty laundry in public instead of acting like grown men & handling your business in private.

I’m not sure how any “grown man” is cool with what Beachum is doing, but hey, do you. I hate that Hollywood retaliated & stooped to Beachum’s level.

Maybe it’s just a generational thing. Maybe that’s what you were used to growing up. I’m clearly not with your generation(or many others on here), but if I got beef/tension/criticism with a teammate, we will handle whatever conflict behind closed doors. Don’t be a weirdo/female & put me on blast. Especially if we’re teammates.

I'll agree with mostly everything here, and some of BIM, but it's weird to consistently frame this as a female thing, when by all accounts we've seen in the NFL and real life, that guys do it just as much.

Having observed high school and college students ever since cell phones, and then smart phones, became a thing, I believe the young males are more addicted to, and immature with, their phones than the females. In the beginning, it was the other way around.

That's my anecdotal observation.

Like Kyler who was suspended in college for cursing out one of his coaches on the field and on the sideline during a game?

Like professional football player Kyler who cursed at his coach (Kliff) on the field and on the sideline during a game?

Like that? So is Kyler now a female in your mind?

I don’t think it is, but again, different generation.

Misogyny was way more common in generations past for sure, but it still exists. Not an excuse.

But that's a pretty big red flag for "my generation." But I'll stop here before this blows more than what I was intending.

The local sports guys were just talking about this in reference to today's players. Especially with social media. These players open their phones and see comments that years ago might have come and gone on a broadcast, but social media makes it more permanent. They spoke about both Kyler and even KD the other day. KD interacts and even responds a lot on social media and clearly lets any criticism get to him. He and Charles Barkley can't stand one another and have publicly had words and gone at it on social media, too. Heck, Barkley took some shots at him recently on a 60 Minutes interview and KD clapped back at him.

Yes, Kyler was being a female for those actions. He’s not above it. No one is.

But for some reason, it’s cool with you when another person airs out the dirty laundry. That’s cool, I guess. Luckily, I didn’t grow up like that.

Didn't MJ or other marquee players (and/or actors, etc) say something to the effect that they wouldn't survive (maybe by status or otherwise) if there was this technology and/or social media back in their day?

Not specifically referencing anything, but I remember on more than one occasion high profile males even commenting on it.

Agreed. Working as a manager in a restaurant/bar, the amount of gossip I hear from customers and staff is constant, and pretty evenly divided between men and women. especially after several drinks.

It's not. It's a huge difference between a woman and a female. I have yet to say any man is acting like a woman, because that's disrespectful to women.

As far as jersey sales go, Kyler is still the best selling Cards jersey. It seems like that would be obvious with him being the QB, but 19 other teams have jerseys for players other than QBs as their top seller.

Jersey sales obviously aren't the only measure of popularity, but it is a piece of the equation.
funniest thing. I went to the team shop to get a Kyler jersey..... and they didnt have my size, lmao... for a player that gets teased about his size, the jersey caps out at 3X.... but I can get a Rondale Moore in 5X
they did have plenty of onesies though
