I was wondering who that guy was who kept tackling marshon lynch when he didn't even have the ball. No wonder - he's a rookie, lol

Dude was BALLING!

Apparently, he doesn't care if Lynch is carrying or not, he will drop his ass. I'm good with that. :)

Guys, Mauro tackling Lynch was his ASSIGNMENT. It's how you defend a zone-read.

Somebody else really screwed the pooch on the long Wilson run.

Stinson, Martin, and Mauro joining the team in one season is a coup. Three well respected collegiate players last season.

Very happy with the play of Mauro. I think he is smart and picked up the scheme very quickly. Executed his assignments well and looks to be a good fit for the future.

When and why they pick him up? I didn't even knew they picked him up. Was he on the bench this whole time and needed to play him?

Another great pickup. Kid had a great game IMO. Especially considering he has only been on the team for a very short time. One of the few bright spots during the game.

He seemed to be all over the place making plays yesterday when given the opportunity, hopefully he keeps it up!

Week before last, looks like as Stinson insurance, but he took Martin's reps.

The Cardinals released Keiser and signed Mauro to replace him.

The rookie out of Stanford has long been on the Cardinals’ radar. Keim said the Cardinals tried to sign Mauro as an undrafted rookie back in May, but he decided to go to the Steelers. When the Steelers cut him at the end of the preseason, the Cards again tried to sign Mauro to their practice squad, but Mauro chose to stay with Pittsburgh’s practice squad. Finally, the Cards decided to sign Mauro off the Steelers’ PS to the active roster.
