18 points, 11 boards, 12 blocks against USC! Unreal, he had 14 by my count they shorted him 2 in the first half. Just insane USC just kept attacking him jumping in trying to score, and he kept blocing it, I think he blocked Taj Gibson 8 times.

he got USC so frustrated that Nick Young and Taj Gibson exchanged words late in the game.

19 blocks by Stanford, that was just insane it was like what Florida did to UCLA last year but blocked shots not dunks.

Brook is about 80% back from his back surgery, personally I say he is a better prospect that Spencer Hawes at UW, Hawes is soft on defense, Brook isn't. Robin is actually the better defender of the twins, Brook the better scorer, but you wouldn't know it last night.

Twelve blocks, just awesome to watch.

Stanford rallies from down 17 in the first half and knocks off UCLA. They shot over 70% for most of the 2nd half, UCLA had Luc, Aboya and Mata all with 4 fouls at the 10 minute mark and it was just too easy to defend them with Keefe and Wright on the floor together.

I will say this about the refs, in the first half during a dead ball, they changed not one but TWO foul calls from other players to Luc. So during play someone on UCLA noticed on the scoreboard that Luc had 2 fouls, and Howland had to call a timeout to take him out of the game. According to the announcers on FSN they checked with UCLA at the half and they said nobody told anybody on the UCLA bench they'd changed the calls. one of them clearly WAS on Luc, not sure about the 2nd one I thought it was really Roll that fouled. But I gotta think they're supposed to notify a team when they change TWO fouls during a dead ball?

But when Stanford can shoot over 70% and shut down UCLA's offense you're not going to win. Luckily I don't think there are too many teams in the country that can do that.

Toughest Loss of the Howland era though IMHO considering the 17 point lead.

What's up with UCLA having no timeouts left with 6 minutes to play?

Ben does that all the time he thinks for some reason that after a made 3 or even a 2, it's a good time to call timeout and set something up. We run out of timeouts all the time, as a UCLA fan you get used to it.

I thought his mistake today was he forgot that saving players with 4 fouls is only important if you don't lose the game while saving them. UCLA went about 4 minutes scoreless and that was during the time he had Keefe and Wright in together.
