Jets could be an interesting possibility... they are 2mil over the cap but that does not stop them from being the top rumor for aaron rodgers...
arod dhop combo would put them right in the mix

Heard more today about this second round compensation rumor. I had heard the Cards thought they might get a first. Apparently the second would come with an additional conditional pick or a player based on current offers.

Hopkins is on the Pat McAfee show today.

They don't shy away from the big questions. Expect him to ask about the trade and training facilities.

Only question is why has not the trade dropped yet?

Yea not sure about a true pro. It’s widely known he doesn’t want to practice. Exactly the opposite of people I would call true pros like Fitz and Rice as an example.
Ive heard Hopkins i kind of a dick

Yeah, I remember the practice thing being an issue in Houston.

Hopkins does not seem to fit with the new culture. I wish him well he was a fun to watch. Do hope the Cards can net a low 1 or 2 + conditional.

My friend who works for the Cardinals said Hopkins is a great guy. He never had any issues working with him. DHop was always nice when my friends family visited. He would play catch with the boys.
well see thats nice to hear.

Ive got a friend who works security who told me he always got mouthy about parking his car at stadium.

I prefer your story

Could be why we had some injury issues later in his career with cardinals

We all know how the injuries start to pile on as we get "older"

I remember in Houston, I think it was a "foot issue" that kept him on the weekly injury report.

Dude knows the team is trading him. Hence why he is on his best behaviour. He wasn't shy about the hat he was wearing during the interview either.

Hopkins for the 58th and 129th picks it is then! But if there was team willing to give up a 1st, it would be the Cowboys!

Realistically, the Cardinals could the reason the Cowboys over take the Eagles by trading Hopkins to Dallas and taking away Gannon from Philly.

Might as trade Kyler as well the expectation of not being good the next 3 years. Only way a trade like this would make sense. Full rebuild
