Rams just beat us up. We look overwhelmed with how physical they are. We don't get mad. We back off and get run over.

I think thats primarily a Jimmy G issue.

Also its the fact we can move the ball better against the 49ers than the Rams.

Rams seem to force us to have more 3 and outs.
Except Nick Mullens went out last week & looked competent against the Rams. Even Jimmy G played solid this year in their 1st matchup & sliced them up last year. Rams’ defense struggles against Shanny more than we do.

The team just doesn’t fall for the fakes vs Shanny nearly as often as they do McVay. It’s weird, but they just don’t.

People need to face the real elephant in the room & thats the limitations of Kyler. Not ever stepping up in pocket to throw & not been able to hit even short passes over middle is killing this team. The running was masking it but not anymore.
Exactly. These guys want to anoint him superstar but he he’s not there yet. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen KM step up in the pocket, but we want to blame play calling.

This is my order of blame in this fiasco: Keim, Keim, Murray and Kliff.

No one is anointing KM, and the thought is that KK isn’t capable of getting KM to that superstar level. KK has had plenty of time to coach up KM, but he really hasn’t progressed that much as a passer. So yes...KK is to blame for that.

It may take more time than imagined. KM is coming from the Big 12 where there was no defense played. KM has to work on becoming a more accurate passer.

What kills me is the damn rollouts on play fakes, we fall for it time & time again. Why not designate a LB responsible for Goff on any play he's under Center? Call some blitzes off the edge when he's under Center to possibly completely blow the play up?

Rams offense was so predictable yet the Cards failed to stop it time and time again. I mean they literally did nothing special. McVay is such a superior coach. Man I’d love to see what he could do with Kyler.

I never took a seat on the Kingsbury bandwagon. Never could figure out why Bidwill and Keim thought a guy who couldn't cut it in college was going to light up the NFL. I think all they saw was the points his offense threw up on the scoreboard in college and thought, yeah let's sign him up and we will see the Cardinal offense light it up too. I think they fashioned him as the next McVay. Thing was, McVay cut his teeth working up the ranks on NFL teams, not college.

Maybe Bidwill and Keim are easily bamboozled.

McVay is a better coach than KK...does that shock anyone?

The Rams defense is maybe the best in the NFL.

KK's play calling from the first drive to the last drive in the 1st half sucked. He called a much better game in the 2nd half.

Why we don't throw it to Hopkins too many times vs not enough just boggles me. That to me is the biggest issue with this offense.

Wasting half a game with trash play calling (as he does most weeks) isn't made up for by being not as trash in the 2nd half.

This offense has been exposed by teams stopping Kyler running. It was covering a lot of holes. Even worse, if teams are over playing the flat to stop him running it's opening up other areas and Kliff isn't even smart enough to take advantage.

I don't think we can blame college. I had no issues with Kyler's accuracy last year. It may have been his best feature. He made some beautiful pinpoint throws to lesser receivers.

His main issues were reading defenses and seeing the field / going through reads.

He's gone backwards this year in every aspect. I don't think there's anything he's better at passing wise. He's got no better at reads/vision. His anticipation is worse. His accuracy is worse. His mechanics have regressed. He's getting batted down more. His decision making is often poor. His leadership stinks. His attitude on the sidelines is like by 8 year old when I say she can play Minecraft.

His running and ability to throw a the occasional dime covered a lot of cracks for 7 games.

There is a lot of blame to go around in this game, but one thing I haven't seen mentioned is we lost by 10 and Kyler gave them 10 in Q4 with a fumble for 3 and a pick 6.

Since I never liked KK, I've been pedaling behind you guys on the bandwagon on my tricycle squeaking my "fire Keim" honky horn. Looks like I've finally caught up.
It’s all part of the keim smartest-guy-in-the-room derangement syndrome. Like when he over-invests in small school products bc he hits on or two (Smokey, Nelson, DJ, Chad Williams, etc), or drafts the change positions projects (Reddick, Buchanan, the cb from Nebraska). But here he did it with the head coach.

I want innovation and forward thinking as much as anyone. But I think keim tries to be different for difference sake so he can look like he’s brilliant. He’s not. Other than trades and one-year make-good contracts that never lead to a longer signing he’s a terrible decision maker.

I dislike Keim as much as most. One thing to consider is that he has had a pretty stellar year this year. I think if anyone gets axed, Vance will be the guy but that will depend on who is available on the market. I don't know if they bail on Vance for Wade even if I would.

I don't think Vance gets axed. They will point to injuries along the DLine and secondary as reasons not to axe him. Add to that the slow development of Simmons (perceived or real)and you have a trifecta of reasons they will not let him go.

Id fire vance and give Buckner a shot at DC. Its enough of a move to light a fire and put KK on the hot seat, but hes a known guy with Keim, and it may not be considered a complete failure. If the team isnt good next year the whole group gos anyway.

They missed the FG after his fumble so he only gave them 7 points. He just tried to give them more.
