Another question is what does that say about your Qb if you have the best wr in league running those routes in 1st place?

I think it says a heck of a lot more about the coach than the QB.

If the coach doesn't think the QB can handle Hop moving around and running different routes, he should take the training wheels off and let the QB make mistakes and learn. It's on the coach either way.

I understand, its bad for Kilff but he has been talking from day 1 about going over calls with K1 & asking him what he likes best. QB got to be partially signing off on those routes for Hop as well. You already got reports about Kliff telling K1 to not be afraid & throw it to DHop just before half time.

Niners’ front 4 aren’t nearly as disciplined containing mobile QBs like LA’s front 4. That helps a lot.

Plus, our defense plays way more disciplined against Shanny’s O than McVay’s O for some reason.

Rams DNA is just everything anti-Keim and Cardinals. They have leadership, they don't play soft or checked out, they play fast and don't make many mistakes, and if they do they can rally. The only way to beat them is to make Goff look pedestrian but he seems to always look like Joe Montana against us.

Even Russell Wilson didnt throw at Ramsey. It happens. However, I think you've gotta move Hopkins around in order to help him and Hopkins out. I think Hopkins can carve him when he's in the slot, but on the outside its tough.

6 catches/77 yards is usually what Hopkins averages against Ramsey before yesterday and that was with movement.

Something I don't understand; the Cardinals score on a great crossing play on the 4th or 5th play in the game with Arnold wide open. Does KK call that play again during the game, I didn't see it?
I think KK should study the game film of what McVay calls. McVay had Goff sprint out to the right or left which ever was the wide side over and over until the Cards could stop it. Just like the Lombardi sweep left or right until the defense adjusted.
KK's play calling has gotten worse as the year goes on. I understand the Cards need a few more players, especially a second wide receiver that can separate. Where was Kirk yesterday, absent.
have to beat the Giants and Eagles and then sweep the 49ers for a playoff spot.

The Arnold TD was busted coverage. The rams weren’t going to have three defenders go with hop and leave Arnold open a second time. Kliff caught lightning on that play. But you can’t bottle that. It’s not likely to repeat like the rams misdirection that killed us over and over again.

Offensive guru Kliff has no imagination. This is horrible!

Kliffs offense is very predictable and one dimensional in how it uses each player.

A defense already knows the route (if they are professionals who game plan), they just need to stop it.

He's gone backwards this year in every aspect. I don't think there's anything he's better at passing wise. He's got no better at reads/vision. His anticipation is worse. His accuracy is worse. His mechanics have regressed. He's getting batted down more. His decision making is often poor. His leadership stinks. His attitude on the sidelines is like by 8 year old when I say she can play Minecraft.
That's amazing considering that his completion % is higher, passing TDs much higher, passing 1st down % much higher, yards per attempt slightly higher, yards per game higher, passer rating is higher, QBR is much higher, sack rate is cut in half, and batted ball rate is lower than last year.

Not really. His % is 2 points higher, his yard per attempt is 0.1 yards higher. His passing TD are higher but his INT rate is also on track to be higher.

That's explained,

1, Having Nuk at WR greatly helps his comp % and opens things up in the passing game which increases the number of passing TD's

2, His passes over 20 yards are down nearly 20%. Which has increased his completion percentage.

You only have to look at him throw to see his technique and accuracy are down. And his confidence.

Plus, near every QB is up this year. It's a record scoring year for the NFL. Likely due to lack of offseason and Covid interfering with game prep. So you would expect his stats to be up statistically in line with the league. It doesn't mean he's improved as a passer.

The most stark statistical difference in games Kyler has lost and games Kyler has won is that in game we have won he averages 10 rushes and in games we have lost he averages 5. That tells me he's winning games with his legs, not his arm. Which we can all now see.

The one area he has clearly improved is sacks, but even that is going downhill lately.

That's not even revolutionary in pop-warner...absolutely insane this guy was considered an "offensive genius". Keim needs to bring in an actual OC who has at least some offensive creativity, otherwise this offense is going to struggle mightily if KM isn't playing like an MVP.

Has a reporter asked Kliff or Dhop the route running question?

I would be interested in the response from both of them.

what’s weird is we can play well against the Niners and the Niners usually stuff the Rams but the Rams always beat us.
We're a quick, talented, mistake-prone, not very adaptable team who can beat other teams similar to us in physical ability and playing style (like SF) but we get mugged by less spectacular, physically. tougher mistake-free teams like The Rams.

Revolutionary! No one else in the NFL uses their start WR that way. He’s changing the game!
Apparently those arent the routes Hopkins is running but rather the targets he's getting. All our WRs are running through the middle of the field but Kyler never targets them there.

KK might be a cool dude and all, but he’s not cut out for the NFL. He treats KM like his little bro and whatever he’s coaching...KM isn’t responding. This offense relies way too heavily on KM making spectacular plays, rather than having good play design. The lack of motion and misdirection is mind boggling. There’s no imagination to this offense, and once it’s out of rhythm...game over.
I think the sad part is that kliff actually treats KM like he's his big bro.

Maybe Keim and Bidwill need to hire outside consultants to select the next head coach because their track record isn't very good.
