Shawn needs to stay away from the perimeter. He needs to get some easy inside baskets, get into the flow of the game and then maybe venture out a little. Also, it seems like when he shoots a floater from 6-8ft out he really doesn't try to make the shot because he expects to be able to outjump everyone else for the rebound and putback. He just flips the ball up there instead of taking the time to try to make the 1st attempt. He also has been disappearing on offense over the last 4 games (probably because he's out at the 3pt line standing around instead of moving without the ball).

I like the weave offense the Suns have run sometimes in the 4th qtr, but they seem to be missing an element of it. They weave at the top of the key, but there's no movement in the post. They never get an entry pass into the post off of the weave. This is the kind of play where a well timed backcut along the baseline by Shawn could lead to easy alley-oop dunks, but they don't take advantage of it.

Yes he does. As great as Shawn's all-around game is, he's not a good long-range jump shooter. I cringe everytime I see him take a three. That's something he needs to work on if he ever wants to reach superstar level.

I think Marion is afraid of going inside. There are several occassions where he would drive in and refuse to take it to the rim. I think Marion is afraid of injuries. I really do. I don't blame him.

I think Marion no longer has the mentality to dunk over people. Maybe due to age? The only time I see him dunk is during fast break, ally-hoop, or put back from a rebound.
