The speed at which some people operate on this board is astounding. Sweet D, if there were a combine for such things I am sure you would grade out very nicely on the "appropriate picture post". Very nice work indeed.

Let's get this clear.

1. Houdini exposed himself a long time ago as a Packers fan but he usually keeps his Cardinals hatred under wraps.

2. Unless he goes the way of NEM, making himself the focal point, I see no reason to ban him. Quite to the contrary. I want posters everywhere to see the Houdini's of Arizona for what they are:

Bitter, selfish transplants, not content with supporting their original home team but bent on mindless subversion of Arizonan's enjoyment of pro football.

There are thousands of Houdinis out here, poluting Arizona life. To them, everything is better where they came from.

The Houdinis vote against school taxes, because their kids already went to school back in wherever. They hate eveything here but love everything back there. They register their vehicles back there because the fees, taxes, and insurance are lower. that's illegal but they don't care.

If you want to understand what Bill Bidwill and the Cardinals are fighting - it's thousands of bitter, selfish, mindless Houdinis who vote as if they cared about our quality of life, but they don't really, because their hearts are back there, wherever there is.

The thing that I cannot understand is why the Houdinis are so bent on hating local teams and depriving us of the satisfaction of being fans. Why is it not enough to just be a rabid supporter of Green Bay?

It's a mystery and I'm not even sure they know why. I do know it's incredibly selfish.

One more thing, Houdini maintains decorum. So even if he's not a Cards fan, he doesn't ruin it for the rest of us.

No, I'm not going to ban him and he's not on my ignore list.

Green Bay is the most storied franchise in the NFL. They've won 5 champioships, or is it 6? Is it any wonder they have a loyal following? It's easy to be a Green Bay fan.

The team rewarded their faithful with a bitterly contested state-wide tax to pay for improvement (if I'm not mistaken), then royally screwed season ticket holders with PSLs on top of the tax.

Who is the worst ownership? I'll answer that. the Cardinals. Because it's about winning. Winning cures everything.

I remember when Green Bay had 17 consecutive non-winning seasons in my youth. But then they got lucky and hired Ron Wolf. Amazing how such a worthless team became good with one hire.

I agree 100%..The big question I have always have had is:

Why do certain people live in Arizona? This is not specifically regarding Houdini perhaps (I think he likes the place)..but unnamed others (for a reason) are poster children for the following question:

Question: Why do you choose to live in a state/city where you claim the following: the education system sucks, the entertainment available sucks, the government of every city and state is the worst in the United States, every sports team sucks, the traffic sucks, everyone and everything here is a complete joke..etc. etc..I could go on and on.. On the otherhand...everything in wonderful dumpy, depressed, midwestern city (northeast, upper midwest, whatever) is like living in heaven on earth...

Not quite clear on why certain people want to live here if everything is so awful and they are so miserable in arizona. And by the way..I am a relative latecomer to arizona..cities I have lived in: Kansas City, Detroit, Chicago, Los Angeles and Orance County, CA. Everywhere has their goods and bads..but why the chronic complaining?

Sadly, Skkorp, you have hit the nail on the head. It's tough to figure what makes people like that tick.

What is not to love about Arizona? I am a native Texan and very very proud of being a Texan, however, Arizona is terrific. If I ever moved from Texas I would be in Arizona...no doubt.

Team loyalty is one thing but bitterness is quite another.
