Put aside a second if you think he should be fired or not. DG has always had a huge ego. He called this team a playoff team his first year. He has made moves to send messages and done things his way regardless of what people have said or thought.

So how delfated is his ego after 3 straight years of 1-4 starts and now having one of the most devestating losses in NFL history? He looked dejected and even if he was fired, I don't think he would care.

You'll notice Denny doesn't blame this on himself. He blames everyone else, every loss. He still has huge ego and huge bank roll. If they fired him, I'm sure he would be happy to become a professional eater.

His ego may make a difference. He surely doesnt need the money and his ego wont let him go out a loser. IMO his anger will morph into a realization that he doesnt have it all figuered out and he'll finally make the adjustments he should have months ago.
Its about time he got some fire in that belly of his!!

The problem is he won't get the time to figure it out. I don't think DG ever thought he couldn't turn it around in 3 years. Let alone in your 3rd year lose a huge opportunity on Monday night and turn it into one of the worst losses in NFL history.

Green has had long enough to turn this team around. I would say that unless a miracle happens, DG wasn't enough to turn this franchise around. Assuming this season is gone, then next year would be 4 years. How many coaches have the Cards given that long to turn things around? How many times has that worked out for the Cards?

Giving a coach 4 years to turn around a team and having losing seasons every year just doesn't happen with this franchise. I think DG is gone no matter what happens after this season. I LOVED the hiring of DG. However, he hasn't shown me anything to think that in his 4th year next....it will be the year.

I could see blaming the coaching for a couple of games this year.

But this game WAS NOT the coaching. This game is on the players.

6 Turnovers? I think the coaches had our players in the right positions.

This one is on the players. I hope there are MASSIVE amounts of cuts.

I would agree with that but coaches get credit win a team wins and get the blame when they lose. Bottom line is the Win and Loss column. In the end, if that is how we judge DG, then he isn't getting the job done. Who knows maybe we go on a massive win streak.

When I learned English, I thought WE included the person speaking.

Who gives a crap about his ego anyhow. All week we heard how he "lost" this team and how the Bears were going to hurt Leinart and blow us off the field. Well, we whipped their ****** asses and still lost. Take out of that what you will, but every single coach and player should be breaking crap and pissed off.
