Isn't it a polite way of saying Keenum sucks by his coach?

Depends on if he was being honest or is trying to drop his market value. It's difficult to take anything a coach says this time of year at face value.

Mike Zimmer on Case Keenum: “Is he the guy that played for the Rams or is he the guy that played for us?”
Doesn’t sound like Zimmer is all that high on Keenum. Just like I’m not.

Probably a smart way for Zimmer to plant doubt in other franchises and try to bring back Keenum on a team friendly deal.

The fascinating thing about this season is that there are more QBs available than there are starting spots. Keenum could find himself on the outside looking in as teams go for guys that have “potential.”

right? Its a buyers market for a change. some of these guys are gonna try and hold out for a bigger deal and end up riding pine for $5mil a year....unless they want to risk waiting for camp and seeing who gets injured.

Could back fire on him though, maybe Keenum wouldn't want to sign back with them after those comments.
