How much would it take to sign Mobley this offseason?? Wouldn't Mobley be the perfect fit to take Q's role in a small ball line up. The guy can pop 3's all day long and can run the floor real well. Would the Suns have enough money to add the guy???

the kings wont let him go with no one to fill in on thier roster so im pretty sure hes staying put... he opted out of his contract because he thinks hes worth more... he's not accepting any mid level offers... but it's a nice thought...

I remember a big part of trading Christie for him was to get more financial flexibility this offseason.

cost the same as Q (8 million a season)...right back at square one......unless he can be had for 3-4 mill but its unlikely.....I see him going to the nuggets. The more i look into it now i can really see finley coming in and being part of the guard rotation (possibly w/ payton (ugh) or jay williams) money is not a factor as Dallas still is on the hook, championship caliber team, used to play with Nasty (and probaly sees that hurt him this year), and he was drafted by us so he knows the organization. I heard Detroit is coming hard but can they offer all that we can?? If he costs half or 75% of the MLE i do it in a second. Another guy whose stock has dropped over the season and we could probaly get for the MLE is Stromile Swift. This Mf'er is the perfect big off the bench. If Stat, KT, SWIFT, and any one of Taft, Simeien, Diogu, Vazquez (hes dropping), Blatche, Petro, or MA....well we would have a PF/C rotation that would be tough for anybody to match up with.....and that includes detroit.

I think if the Kings had it to do over again, they would have kept Doug Christie. Mobley was something of a failed experiment because he's such a headcase. Mistake prone.

I don't know about Sacramento, but I'm sure Orlando would not have done that trade if they could go back now.

Mobley is undersized (6'4) for a SG and isn't that good of a defender. I'd rather see Finley if possible and pick up a guy like Swift or D. Marshall with the MLE. Mobley would probably want more than the MLE anyways and would want to start.

I know I was ecstatic when Sac Town got rid of Christie. That guy used to kill us! Now, it's easier to get by them.
