He is a damn turnover machine and I can't watch another game he plays in.

Oh and BTW.. Todd Haley sucks.

He isn't a Pro Bowler any longer, but we'd be 0-14 w/out him.

At least it would be a lot less stress on the heart. I am so damn sick of him pissing away games and then crying on the sideline. How freaking hard is it to tuck the ball or throw it away?

Do you have to have a single player as a scapegoat? Yes, that was a BAD fumble. But, our penalties and defense were far bigger factors in the loss.

Yes I do. 6 int's and a fumble in the two biggest games of the year!? Let's not forget about his brain fart in the endzone against San Fran... or his seemingly unwavering desire to throw into triple coverage to scrub backup wr's and te's.

If Rackers makes 3 fgs, the ball NEVER gets to kurts hands. This team is in the playoffs with a good kicker.

Clif,

I agree, can't stand the guy, ashamed I ever wanted him to start over Matt.

I'd of rather had an entire season of growing pains with Matt than watching Warner tease me all year.

Let's be clear here, he's the best chance we had to win, probably since game one.

He's also a past his prime, fumbling interception machine.

He drives me batty watching him look like a pro bowler one minute and an idiot the next.

I'll be glad when he's gone.

BTW, replacing him with someone competent isn't too much to ask either, now with this team you never know but still he's got no ball protection skill whatsoever.

Relax.

Backup's been starting all year and Warner is a great backup to have.

It's no secret he'll turn the ball over 2 times a game, so you should at least expect that.

All in all, I'm not crying over this one. Wins are great and now the playoff dream is pretty much dead, but I've seen a LOT about this team to be excited about this year and am more pleased than I have been since the end of 98 (although THAT vikings loss really pissed me off).

Oh! Also... I too am so sick of Kurt Freaking Warner. He's done. He made this season enjoyable, but he is not consistent. Too many mistakes, and too many times he has helped us lose.

No defense, dropped passes, penalties, missed fg's, bad coaching, bad blocking and missed assignments. And the qb didn't excel under those circumstances? Hmmm, that's very perplexing. One turnover on his shoulders in all of that. I hate those 31 point fumbles.

You should say "relax at least we actually have a young QB with a ton of potential for next season" because Warner, while according to the depth chart is our backup QB, is not a guy who had to take over after sitting on the bench for 2,3 or 10 years.

He was our starting QB in '04 and '05 and played several series this season while Matt was healthy so he doesn't fit with what you guys are trying to spin with the use of the term backup.

He's the backup. There's no spin there.

The starter was sucking before he went down, so let's hope THAT changes.

I'm not a big Warner guy, but this was a total team loss. Turnovers, penalties and awful defense were all factors... as usual.

This bashing of Warner is nonsense. The defense was dreadful, the OL could not run block and the numerous penalties continue. Yes, he threw some interceptions but he also threw some incredible passes. Given the complexion of the game, he did very well. Some of you are dreaming when you think Leinart, Rattay or anyone else would have done better under the circumstances.

This thread reeks of ungratefullness (is that a word?), disrespect and stupidity.

Warner is A BACKUP. Why is that not debateable, duckjake? Because he was #2 on the depth chart when Leinart was active.

How you guys can complain about a backup who has routinely kept us in games is remarkable. Please, all of you geniuses out there, tell me how many backups in the league you would rather have. Leinart loves the guy and credits him with being the best thing that has ever happened to him in football. He is smart and experienced.

To think that Rattay, an assistant HS coach could do better than a guy who is 6 years out of being League MVP is downright hilarious. Yes he has messed up, but to think that there are better backups out there is simply ********.

Also, how can you say you hate a man who you dont even know. I have never heard anyone who knows him say anything other than what a hard worker, great teammate and good friend he is.

I understand about getting pissed off after a loss but this is just moronic.

The man has scored points with a makeshift line, injured recievers, a weak running game and an injured D that has forced him to try to make too many many in order to stay in games.

I for one respect everything the man stands for, am thankfull for everything he has brought to this team and will proundly wear #13 for years to come.
