Mark West was the man (although all refs hated him for some reason). I agree with you there, and if it weren't for Magic Johnson, then maybe that young Suns team could have made a real run at the NBA title.

I might have my timing off, but weren't the L.A. teams that stopped the Suns fielding Abdul-Jabbar/AC Green/Worthy/Magic (a 7-footer and three at 6'9"), with their Shooting Guard their smallest starter . . . while the Suns big man was 6'9" - 212 lb. (yes, 212 lb.) Alvan Adams at Center.

Earvin Johnson wasn't the only Laker blocking the Suns from a title.
