But there's no way a 31-0 lead should have turned into a nail biter. Especially considering they had a washed up QB going most of the way. From what I gathered the team let up because it sounded like most of the 2nd half the team was going through the motions. Of course the shotty officiating didn't help(Larry was clearly down). Also, how do you go an entire game with zero penalties to racking up 45 yards on a single drive? Anyhoo, I hope this team captures that first half fire from yesterday because that was beautiful.

Sucked that the 41 yard run by AP was called back. Strange that they make that call at that moment when guys hold all game. They should let the exciting plays be made unless it's really blatant.

But as you said, a win is a win.

Possible cause for the 2nd half meltdown was the three missing DL guys. Pierre, and Nkemdiche were inactive and Williams got injured. Also, the mental part probably came into play, as they figured the game was over, up, 31-0.

Yes, the team let down in the second half but that's just human nature. I never thought it was a nail biter or that they were in danger of losing. They let down and got sloppy, hence the penalties.

That's pretty normal. I wasn't excited for one bit when we went up 31-0

Yeah the offense was just at fault as the defense. The fumble for the TD. The two horrible penalties by Gresham just killing that great drive. Can't have those

And therein lies the problem, they have not shown they are capable of playing 60 solid minutes. Losing Winston was a big blow to the Bucs. I highly doubt it would have been 24-0 at half if Winston was still in the game.

Yea but statistically the cared played very well offensively. I mean 4 incompletions. And AP with 136 yards...a bad call from having 181!!! Everyone says when the back up QB comes in its different. You don't game plan for them. If you look in history at big comebacks. The backup QB has been involved. Plus Tampa had nothing to lose. They had some.fluke plays like Larry's fumble....Cards best the Rams next week and AP does well....the Cards will be a NFC force.

Hell a couple of years ago in Tennessee I watched Fitzpatrick bring the Titans back against us after all the Titans fans had left. I remember watching OT in the cold in a mostly empty stadium. We intercepted Fitzpatrick in OT and won but it was horrible watching the Titans come back to tie it.

As much as I am happy that AP sparked the offense and provided a much needed shot in the arm, the other side of the ball totally collapsed and the offense seemed gassed in the second half.

Seemed to me the offense was riding a high and came down to earth a bit. Let's see how they come out the next game and I have no clue what we are going to do with a defense that gives up a 31 point lead. Sheesh!

Is it any coincidence that Tampa Bay started balling as soon as Patrick Peterson was sidelined?

I'll say this: Losing arguably the best defensive player in the sport is a hell of an adjustment. That, and the combination of playing too conservative (something BA doesn't normally do), really hurt.

I'm not terribly concerned about it, though. The score does not reflect how bad of a beatdown we put on Tampa Bay. Everyone wanted to see this offense play with purpose again, and it did exactly that. I'm confident we got over a major hurdle this season.

BA and his staff get out-coached again after halftime... an alarming trend that, at this point really isn’t a “trend” any longer... it just is what it is...

I don't think the bizarre penalties, bogus fumble by Larry are attributed to the coaching staff. The 4th and 2 deep pass that was an INT, Arians took the blame on that.

I hated the holding call that negated AD's long run; however, I thought it was a good call.

Just read that the Bucs scored more points in the 4th quarter than they have in any game during their 42 year existence. I really despise those types of stats against us.

Go Cards!!!

I agree. It was not only a good call, but the hold may have been the deciding factor in AP not getting tripped up at the line of scrimmage. I know it's difficult for people to watch games objectively. But as soon as I saw the replay I thought it was a good call.

I will take the win. At least the Cardinals have some punch in their offense with the addition of AP. It's amazing how the running game helped Fitz and Palmer.

Seattle never let up when they waxed the Cardinals 58-zip. Point is, teams with that killer instinct don't let up.

Another bizarre play call was late in the game up by, 11 IIRC. 4th and 2 with AP running the wheels off of Tampa and we...pass? I don't know what was weirder passing or not trying a FG.

On third down AP was stuffed.

It would have been a 50/51 yd attempt.

No, it is called coaching and what the coaches did in the second half in my opinion
