Just did a major upgrade on my PC - Motherboard, processor, memory, video card and power supply. When it came time to fire it up, nothing would work right, no matter what I did. Hours spent on the web identifying problems and solutions came to no avail.
Then, I says to myself, let's try restoring my hard drive from the full backup I made on my secondary hard drive. VOILA!!! Everything's perfect! Apparently, something got tweaked on my main hard drive during the upgrade and installation. The full backup file on my secondary hard drive saved my sorry arse once again!!
For $100 or less, you can save yourself a lot of woes, believe me! Money very, VERY well spent.
I don't have a lot of sage advice, but this is one..... (insert smiley here).
