I think part of the problem is that the players on this team have quit. I thought Green wouldn't let it deteriorate that badly, but it's obvious he has. He shows up every game and is suprised the same things happen: OL sucks and the defensive line can't stop the run.

Do you think that will happen again on Sunday against the Seahawks? I'm sure many of you in the south end zone will get sick of seeing Alexander's smiling teeth.

The only positive thing about this Sunday is that Alexander is on my Fantasy team. That should take the sting out of watching that atrocious TD celebration.

Hey, it takes a special person to continue to take these emotional let downs as a fan and get back up again each week to take it again. I think there are only about 30,000 people in Arizona who can take such a mental beating. I think they all show up at SDS on Sundays.

Sorry I've offended.

EDIT: Doesn't some clown also always have to make the "I'm no longer a fan" post? Despite whatever you (or bobcat) might think my "tone" is, that'll never be me.

If I chose to not care anymore, I truly won't, and therefore won't feel the need to publicly denounce my membership in the Cardinals' fan club.

These kind of posts always feel like a cry for attention to me. No one is going to hold their hand and bring them back into the fold. Frankly, I don't have a lot of respect for fans that ditch it because we're no good. You knew what you were getting into--it's the Cardinals fer chrissakes.

I'm not going to worry about losing fans because it's not in my job description as a fan. I'm here to follow the team, not the team's followers.

I had no problem with the post, and I agree that it is not the fan's job to keep fans around.

That is the owners job.

You either root for the other teams or you root for the Cardinals. Some Cardinals fan is going to stop rooting for this team... ...shocker.

Oh well, another one bites the dust........until this team starts playing well then it will be "I've been rooting for them since 1712 when they didn't wear helmet, and there were no substitutions, and the cheerleaders were naked!"

Well you get my point.

I mean was does this guy want a party?
