I find it really hard to believe that any of that music would fire up the team one little bit as a whole. In fact I would be willing to bet that a majority of the players would be thinking "what the heck is this crap"

Just not the right genre overall.

Maybe that song "Here We Go Again" by Ok Go would be appropriate.

Funny I hear that all the time in regards to my music, but a man can dream can't he. Sure would fire me up though. Let people know we come out to slaughter them!

I'm using this as my new avatar, but how can you look at this graphic and not think The U is special?:
Pantone, I noticed your avatar and also sig. Due to the colors scheme it appears as though they may be graphics for Super Bowl XLII. Are they your designs?

I have to say, even though I hate the Raiders, when they start playing Hells Bells by AC/DC just before they start introducing the players, it's pretty awesome. The crowd just goes nuts, the players are into it, it's cool.

Your talking about one of the select few universal songs that a lot of people like. I dont think Slayer falls into that category. As many AC/DC songs wouldnt.

Agreed, but it would be a blast to hear "let me put my love into you" or "givin' the dog a bone" at a game. :)

Correct - those are part of the SB XLII graphics package. There are some just fantasic Stadium graphics in there...and a couple of subtle tie-ins with the Cardinals. The lighter Red (used as the rays of light radiating from the interior of the stadium) is Cardinals Red. And, the lighter Gray of the exterior of the stadium is officially Cardinals Gray (think facemask color). Nice touch.

One of the other colors in the SB42 color palette is (surprisingly) Seahawks Green. However, it is only to be used on "women's apparel"...

Do what the Colts did and fabricate noise :D

I've been to the RCA Dome (Colts-Vikings, MNF, 2 years ago), and The U (Rams-Cardinals last year). The volume levels were comparable. Cards fans got nothin' to be ashamed of.

I would like to see the team run out on the field to Van Halen's DOA song or anything to make the other team know that they are not welcomed visitors...WE AIM TO BEAT THE HELL OUT OF YOU IN OUR OWN HOUSE!

correction, maybe play Van Halen's House of Pain

Van Halen? No way. Try Slayer.

ok...maybe King Diamond

What the.....

Dude, these players dont listen to this kinda music.. The other team, and prolly our own would be like "whats this noise in hear"..

Id say a majority of the players in the NFL listen to hip hop music..

So if your looking to strike fear in the hearts of the other teams players, this prolly wouldnt do the trick.. You guys in the stands would be having a great time though I bet.. But both teams might run back into the locker rooms trying to get away from that music..

:D

They need to play the finale from Mahler's Eighth, specifically the "Das Ewig-Weibliche" part

yes, all of Wagner's work is really a German version of Greek tragedy...but our Hero 'Q' has no flaws...if we really stink it up...we could play the melody from Berlioz's Fantastic Symphony when the hero ends up in hell and it gets all funky and haunted like a bad comedy during the Witches' sabbath

Why don't we just play Beethoven's fifth, it might have a strange effect on the opposing team like in the movie A Clockwork Orange...CLASSIC!

the part with the strings sounding like spiders and creepy crawlies is my favorite.

You ever hear Berlioz's Requiem? They finally put it up on youtube.

really

no sure have not, I try to make it a point to stay away from youtube and the whole myspace thing. I do fineart and just for me it is more productive to read books instead so my mind can get a workout which hopefully carries over to the paintings. Did a painting on the Berlioz piece in the late 90s. I rather watch complete tragedy with the Arizona Cardinals, LOL...I feel good about this team though and hope they can pull off a win soon. A young team needs a win to confirm that the things they did right in a loss where valid reasons to keep pushing forward...lose a lot and a young team will think they do everything wrong.

I love the new stadium. It will become the Cards house when the team strings together some wins and other teams dont want to visit.
