MNF is not about W/L record, it's about ratings. The try to schedule the games that will bring the best ratings.

Now that has a definate relationship to W?L but not directly and just having Emmit would automaticly put us on MNF.

There's a high likelihood that game would be on. First of all, the Cowboys will be on a minimum of two times next year because of Parcells. And the Emmitt going back to Dallas storyline will be way too tempting for ABC to pass up.

I believe the match-ups are at the discretion of the good folks at ABC. If you recall, they have been pushing the NFL very hard to not schedule the MNF games so far out in advance so they could, in fact, determine the best match-up late in the season.

Wizard you may be right but in general its going to come down to wins/and losses if anyone knows maybe they can do the research of teams with losing recoeds the prior year that have been on Monday night football???

I would be willing to bet that it is very few!
