and many teams were offering him nice big deals for him to come play for them...do you think he'd stay here over going else where at either the same amount of money or less

He would stay here as long as we dont insult him with an offer IMO. He wants to be in AZ. He doesnt want to move his family. This system suits him perfectly. He wouldnt be doing this in Minnesota. Not even close.

All things being equal he has stated he wants to stay here..why would he want to pick up and move his family again and go learn a new system? As long as the money is comparable and he gets a chance to start I think he stays here..even if the money is a little less than what other teams offer. Now if someone wants to break the bank...that might be different. IMO Warner will sign a 2 year deal and finish his career in AZ...

A little off topic but it isn't worth another Warner thread: Does everyone realize Warner is just over 300 pass attempts from throwing more passes as a Cardinal than as a Ram? That seems kind of hard to believe.

I think, even if someone offered him a huge deal, he would stay here for less (but reasonable, of course).....How much, btw, would it take. 2yr./$10-$12 mil. maybe????

If he wins the MVP, I don't think there's a chance on earth that he's not in a Cardinals uniform next year, because they aren't going to insult him, and he's going to want to stay.

With one caveat: If the Cards win it all, my guess is that Warner would retire.

He'll stay. He knows he plays better indoors. WAY too lazy to look, but how many domed teams are in need of an old QB?

The Vikings play against cold weather outdoor teams such as Chicago and Green Bay. Not only is cold weather not typically good passing weather, I'm not certain you would want Warner's still questionable ability to hold onto the ball to become a factor in 5 degree weather.

I feel the Cards give him a 2 year deal, which really leaves Leinart in limbo

Yeah, thought about them after the fact, but as Kablansky said, I doubt he'd want to go there given the other teams in the division.

That, and aside from playing indoors...the weather in general in MN is miserable. I'd love to visit, but sure wouldn't want to live there.
