Who would you like to see on the Suns roster? I wouldn't mind seeing Jermaine O'Neal playing alongside Amare. I know he's had injury problems the past 3 years, but I really think he would be a plus on the Suns. The Pacers were looking to deal him, but couldn't after he messed up his ankle.

How about this as a starting unit:

PG - Nash
SG - Bell
C - Stoudamire
PF - O'Neal
SF - Marion or Hill

What would we have to give up for him? Has Marion worn out his welcome? Could we get by without Thomas' size and defense? Would they be willing to eat Banks' contract if we gave them Atlanta's pick?

I don't think we have enough to get him. It'd take Marion and more, then with Amare and O'Neal you force Grant Hill to start at SF, which is fine, but he's so injury prone that if he went down we'd be without a SF.

Nobody. I vote for a little thing called "Team Chemistry". Probably spelled wrong. Lets have another go at it with our current lineup. I think Boris better be the new player we need also!! Work out!!

I think Darko would compliment Amare nicely inside. He can play defense and can hit a jumper I think. That is all the Suns need out of a Center.

I wouldn't mind giving him a try. He made some improvement this past season and is still very young. He might make things a little tougher for Duncan with his size.

suns fans are forever scarred.......delusional one might say after thinking we were so close to Garnett.

we have NOTHING that Indy would want for Jermaine. and they are in the same position as Minny in that if they trade O'Neal they want expirings and young talent. they have no need for Marion with Granger up front.

i think the suns are staying pat unless a team comes to them looking for one of our pieces and can give us a nice package. other than that this team is staying pat.

How about a starting five of:

Steve Nash
Raja Bell
Grant Hill
Shawn Marion
Amare Stoudamire

4 multiple time All Stars and an All NBA defensive First Teamer, not bad.

I am happy with the team as it is.Who knows what might have happened if that suspension hadn't have happened

The Suns have the basis for a very good team. Sure there are guys that would be nice to have, but it is very hard to do much without adding a bunch to the Luxury Tax.

i just hope that i'm not pissed next may because the team lost for the same reasons they did this year(defense, reb, and players dissappearing in the playoffs). if this is the team, then they damn well better get it done. we have been really really really fortunate with stevie not missing extended time or showing his age. the window aint open forever.

Everything we've seen suggests the Suns are focused on improving their toughness and defense. This does not mean D'Antoni is going to give up speedball, but it looks like they have added guys who will go hard to the basket.

If we can't get KG and still keep Amare, then I'm more than fine with this!

A rotation that includes Barbosa, KT, and Diaw should not suffer a big drop when the starters are off the floor. There are no Vaughn's in that crew.

That starting rotation is short on rebounding and post defense. Hill is going to have to get some rebounds for us, and Amare is going to have to step up in those two areas.

It will be interesting to watch Amare and Oden go at it this year. My gut feeling is that Oden is going to struggle staying on the court because of foul trouble.
