Precisely. The fallout from that game was the front office and Denny being deluded into thinking McClown could be a quality NFL QB. Same thing happened with Skelton's fraudulent win-loss record last year.

And the Giants have 2 Super Bowls out of Manning. That said, if he was unwilling to play in beautiful San Diego, on what planet does anyone think he'd have played here? What's worse is that our management isn't smart enough to have made a trade to get a player like Philip Rivers. We would have ended up with some draft picks to screw up and Fitz would be playing somewhere else.

Eli Manning is good, but vastly overrated. Put him on the Cardinals and he probably doesn't have a Superbowl yet.
