But just remember vets don't always improve the situation. Plus you don't need GREAT WR to be successful. Look at Tampa Bay and the Eagles they have terrible WR cores, and their supposed #1 WR are far below average.
Jeez - you can't say Moss - that is such BS. The man is the exception to the rule and EVERYONE knew he was an absolute freak, but no one wanted him due to attitude problems. Do you think that Bryan Johnson has Moss type talent? Give me a break.
As far as sacrificing our young WRs at the epense of a vet like Muhammad, look, there are two things that are of ultra-importantce here - One, Rookie WR's take time to develop more than any other position in the league besides QB, and I would bet that most would benefit from watching and learning from a pro like Muhammad. I mean our guys have such little experience it's frightening to me. Next about sacrificing experience for wining games witha proven vet - look this team has to start winning games in order to believe in itself. You have to build - sadly with our recieving corps, which I believe is the worst I have ever seen on the Cardinals (and that's saying soemthing) - Jeff Blake is going to have to be a miracle worker for this offense to move. It's too much pressure to put on kids who don't even really know the NFL game yet. But, the offense could and would be compettive in my eyes if we had a Muhammad on the squad -the guy has worked with bad QBs for years, and when healthy put up pretty good numbers. Then hopefully one of our guys could step up to become a decent 2nd WR to go with a better than average TE, who should actually see the ball this year, to go along with, if all of the above come true, a pretty solid rushing attack. That will win us some ball games. That will give this team confidence heading into the next season and THAT is what will eventually make this team a winner.
Continual losing isn't just grating on us guys - I mean come on, we're just fans - for the players, it's their lives. Gotta be able to bring up young talent and win some ball games.
