You watched the Slovenia Na'tl team playing last summer didn't you? I watched three of the games you posted links to - I didn't realize Kokoskov was the coach until the third game. I was focussed on Doncic. My take on the games was that Dragic made the offense go though his backup(not Doncic) did well, too - I guess that's the sign of good coaching. It was the Goran we saw for stretches here, especially the time when Bled was out - except he had more help on the fast breaks.
Doncic made some good plays but he didn't slash as much as I thought he would - and should have, IMO. He was most notable grabbing defensive rebounds and triggering the fast break. His shooting from 3 was not impressive though he did bank one off the glass to seal a game. He must have contributed much more for Real Madrid, because in those games you'd never imagine him being in the running for the first pick in the draft.

Oh yeah, I watched just about every single game, being a huge Dragic and Igor fan, and wanting to see more of Doncic. I don't remember which ones I posted the links to here, but I know I couldn't find most of them. Dragic was definitely the star of that show, but Doncic had quite a few really good games. I maintain that Doncic right now is a much better passer than Dragic, but Dragic definitely ran the show. I do agree about slashing, but my impression was that his role was far more focused and pick and rolls and getting dribble hand-offs, so that may have been by design. He does, however, definitely look better on the ball than off the ball right now.

What are the defensive rules in euroleague, can you play zone?

Sun's most glaring problem is teams can just surround booker (or Jackson when he was lead scorer at the end of the season) and have no concern about letting others, i.e. Pg or pf shoot open jumpers.

Here's quite extensive interview with Kokoskov after Eurobasket 2017... You get an insight into his philosophy of the game.

There are many quotes, I like this one

"
Also, a perfect coach doesn’t exist, there are only coaches who are a perfect fit for certain teams and that is what general managers know best – whatever the team profile is, that’s the kind of coach they need. If it’s a young team, they need someone who is going to insist on work and discipline, but if it’s a team like the Golden State Warriors of today, all they need is someone who can focus them and keep them as relaxed as possible because that’s how they play best.

In line with this, I would stress that there is no right way to play basketball. You often hear the term “modern basketball,” but that’s actually winning basketball – who ever wins dictates the trend. I always go back to the Detroit Pistons and the 2004 championship we won, and we didn’t play that “modern basketball” style, quick tempo, up and down the court. We dictated the trend then, and now the Warriors are dictating it as champions. "

Good grief. It somehow got by me that he was an assistant under Larry Brown on that championship Pistons team. This guy, for as young as he is, has been everywhere.
