I give props to Graves since all personal moves are his including cutting players, right? That's showing a lot of balls to cut a first day player based on performance!

Having said that, that is one huge screw up draft pick... I mean not even worthy to keep around for special teams and future development!!

That's exactly what I want in a GM. Someone who has the balls to cut a player because he didn't have the brains to draft the right one!

Yep... I didn't say that wipes out his incompetence in player evaluations, both drafts and free agents. I mean we get Milford Brown and Clancy in free agency as supposedly solid players and then cut them the next year. We trade a 6th round for Gorin and then cut him the following year... Arrggghhh....

Ok, so what right things has he done? Like 100% said, do you just ignore the good things? Or is everyone fixated on the bad?

He managed to get the injury waivers for mini-camps. He implemented bells and whistles in contracts. He started getting the teensy bit creative in contracts.

Problem is, these are things any competent organization already does...and aren't even the minimum. Problem is, we need to do so much more, and we are so often content to do little else.

but just like Coaches are held responsible for W/L records, GM's should be held responsible for draft picks and free agent signings.

This is where I have the problem. If everyone stuck to this philosiphy then I would be happy, but all I see here is "If we go 6-10 again Graves should be fired" Hes dammed either way.

It's because people think that if we go 6-10, it isn't because Whis is bad (it's his first season), but because Graves didn't supply enough quality players...which he didn't.

It's not like I think every move he makes is wrong, it's that he dosen't make enough right ones for me.
