You can take (NFL Network's) "Net Access", (ESPN's) "NFL Live" (SIRIUS Radio's) "Red Zone" and and put them in a pile in the corner.

Because nothing comes close to (Calvisi's, Urban's and Wolf's) "Cardinal Underground" podcast (on azcardinals.com).

Other than the actual games themselves, there's nothing I'd rather listen to.

The only thing I wish is that there was a new Cardinals Underground each morning to get me fired up and ready to go.

(Where else are you going to pick up stuff like the prediction that Brandon Keith will start at RG or RT before the year is up)?

Whoa, whoa, whoa! Right Tackle? As in replacing Levi Brown at right tackle? That RT?

Doesn't that speak to a big problem with our #1 selection from last year?

Uh, OK. For Cardinals coverage, OF COURSE the local, team guys are going to be better.

Not necessarily.

There are two scenarios where Keith could play RT without it casting aspersions on Levi:

1. If Levi had to move to LT to replace Gandy (either on merit or due to injury)

2. If (God forbid!) Levi were to get injured.

In fact, the prediction by Wolf and (and either Urban or Calvisi - I can't distinguish between the two voice-wise) - was made within the context of the inevitibility of injury and the need for more quality depth on the O-line.

They said it; I didn't (I tend to be a bit more conservative when it comes to making predictions about players, though I will confess to being excited about Keith).

But Wofley says he's basing his conclusions on what he saw in drills (i.e. "They put him up against Chike at RT, and he locked him down." They moved him inside at RG against Dockett and he locked down Darnell. Then Russ Grimm moved him outside again against Chike, and he locked down Chike again. That plus the fact that he's something like 6-5 345 with quick feet and incredibly long arms. What's not to like?"

I'll drink to that!

The talent is there and hopefully he stays focused and becomes our next left tackle. Or right if Levi moves over.

Agreed, every year there are kids like Keith in the draft who had talent to go much higher than they did but didn't because they had problems while in college.

Keith had more than the usual share of problems, quitting the team at OU multiple times, legal problems, but you always hope the light suddenly goes on when he gets to the NFL and gets paid and sees the potential to get paid a lot more if he plays well.

It's a crapshoot as Jeff Gollin said maybe you get Jomo Cousins, but there are guys every year like Keith who suddenly get it and pan out, you just hope you're lucky enough to find one.

After the OTAs the coaches asked him to shed 25lbs and he showed up at camp right where they wanted him. That's a good sign. Sometimes we forget that they are just college kids and they're going to make mistakes. It's all part of growing up.

Well said, Jeff. The podcasts are superb. Wolfley's enthusiastic passion is counterbalanced nicely by Calvisi's humor and Darren Urban's objectivity.

Jim Omohundro is producing a gem for Cardinals fans.

We Cardinal fans have it sooo much better these days...thanks first of all to Skkorp who brought us ASFN and then to the Cardinals themselves for hiring Darren Urban and having Jim O broadcast these Cardinal Underground audios and the assorted camp videos.

Kudos to all!

MJ and Dale Hellestrae were raving about Keith the other morning. Dale said that he could tell almost instantly if an offensive lineman had what it takes to do well in this league just by how they come out of their stance and other small things. He said that Keith clearly has what it takes and looks like a steal being selected in the 7th. He then went on to say that if he was told that keith was selected in the 3nd round he would probably still think he was a steal.

From what I have seen Keith definitely looks the part.

Like Zimmerman said in his HOF speech, no one starts out to be an OL, they just end up there. :)
