The Bends and OK Computer are two of my all time fave records.
How many people am I speaking for...when I say that, "I don't give a Sh*t what jenna is listening to??"

modest mouse, "gravity rides everything"
Wow... Ironically I was listening to "Ocean Breathes Salty' moments earlier...
I'm mixed on their new release....judging from some of the songs Ive heard thus far.. it just seems they sold out to a certain degree...
wow... i was totally thinking the same thing. of all the bands in the world, they were the last ones i would've thought that would happen to.
"Dashboard" for example is too radio friendly....Also, it seems they copied off of the Stroke's "Juice Box"...
They compromised their sound to generate more airplay.... Usually, other Indie bands record a hit song in the most "fluked-up" manner... just take Folk Implosion with "Natural One" or Pavement's "Cut Your Hair".... I dont think either of those songs were recorded with the notion of becoming as popular as they did... However... again.. it seems that Modest Mouse are forcing out sounds which is just a travesty since they had a lot to offer..... Perhaps they'll fully overcome this....
This is why I'll never grow sick of the band Gomez... they never have pursued commercial success... never... the best band never heard...
I'm now listening to the Cults "Love" cd....
Sounds just as fresh as it did in 1985.....
Been listening to the Rentals..which features Matt Sharp, who was the true genius behind vintage Weezer.
KLL, I really need to listen to that whole album. I listened to a few tracks and wasn't impressed. But I miss the hell out of Sharp.
