Been looking forward to this one. Think I'll pick it up this weekend.

it's pretty good - and it's more of a throw back to pre-in absentia/deadwing albums. if you are not familiar with their music before those two albums, you may not like it or it might take a few listens to get used to.

Rumor has it they will be playing 5 tracks from Duke including the long instrumental on the upcoming tour.

Wow, that would be worth the price of admission alone. They'll probably perform several tracks off of "Invisible Touch" and "We Can't Dance", but anything from those 3 aforementioned albums along with "And Then There Were 3" would be welcomed.

I just hope one day Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett return back into the fold and they do a complete performance of "the Lamb Lies Down On Broadway". That would obviously be beyond awesome.

I am currently listening to one of the most defining, but unknown songs ever.. here's the video to it:

Most of today' Britpop bands point to this song and the entire album of "Modern Life Is Rubbish" as their main influence. It sounds more current today than ever.

**SPOILER ALERT**

There is a "rumored" setlist floating around the internet. Apparently this is what they are currently rehearsing in Europe - but who knows what will make the final setlist and in what order:

Behind the Lines
Duchess
Mama
Ripples
Throwing It all Away
Home By The Sea
Domino
Dance on A Volcano/Los Endos
Invisible Touch
I Can't Dance
Lamb Lies Down on Broadway
In the cage/Dukes Travels/Cinema Show/After Glow
Carpet Crawlers
No Son Of Mine
Turn It On Again
Land Of Confusion
Follow You Follow Me/Firth Of Fifth/I Know What I Like
--Plus 2 secret "mystery songs"---

Yeah, it could be a LOT worse. That's actually a pretty low crap to fun ratio for a 2 1/2 hour show. Plus, looking on the bright side, the I Can't Dance's and Inivible Touch's of the set will give you a couple of nice pee breaks after slamming all that jungle juice in the parking lot.

"Once In A While"

I can see it
It's funny man
Cause it's like it's not going nowhere
And you gon' see it wherever there's struggle
I see my pain in your eyes man
So I know you're feelin' me
It's that twinkle man
That sign of struggle
I've seen it
In me

Cause everyday I can't help but see it
People ain't satisfied
And you're hatin' your 9 to 5
Everybody wanna live another life
But every goal or mountain you climb
Not to better your day
That do leave room for people to say
I guess you're livin' better now
Share a little of that cheddar now
Cause I remember days back when
A brother was hustlin and robbin' too
I done tossed up a letter now
On a whole nother level now
Still I can't enjoy my fame
Unless my people doin' the same
And gettin' money too

(Once in awhile I couldn't look at you)
Once in awhile
(and see the twinkle in your eyes)
And I can see that you never wanna struggle no more
(Once in awhile I couldn't look at you)
Once in awhile
(and see the twinkle in your eyes)
And I can see that you don't ever wanna cry no more

Cause everytime you ask me, I'm grindin'
It shouldn't have to be that way
You shouldn't have to pay my way
I shouldn't have to want for a brighter day
Got a little problem on the way
Bounty hunters checkin' state to state
Child support lady on your case
Not to mention tickets you ain't never paid

Oh
Is what you'll be askin'
God please hold it down for me
Don't let satan get ahold of me
I'm tryin' to tell you it can happen to me too
But it happened a lot worse to my brother
Muhammad thank God he recovered

(Once in awhile I choose look at you)
Once in awhile
(and see the twinkle in your eyes)
And I can see that you never wanna struggle no more
(Once in awhile I choose look at you)
Once in awhile
(and see the twinkle in your eyes)
And I can see that you don't ever wanna cry no more
(Once in awhile I choose look at you)
I see your pain now
I can feel you strain now
And I can see you cryin'
And inside you're dyin
We're all the same now
But you got to make change now

(Once in awhile I choose look at you)
Once in awhile
(and see the twinkle in your eyes)
And I can see that you don't ever struggle no more
(Once in awhile I choose look at you)
Once in awhile
(and see the twinkle in your eyes)
And I can see that you don't ever wanna cry no more
Don't wanna cry no more
And I can see
That you don't ever want to struggle no more
And I can see that you don't ever wanna cry now more

This past weekend I've been listening to Umphrey's McGee live tracks. Impossible to describe this group. It's sort of like ... if Frank Zappa had decided to form a jam rock band.
