We just got offered Green Bay's 55th and 88th for our 38th, but that dude (Montgomery) could be nice at 38. I wonder who he is trying to trade up to get??

Based on the point chart, I wouldnt do this.

#38 = 520

vs.

#55 = 350

&

#88 = 120

Which equals 470.

Have them throw in their 4th rounder (pick 121), which is 52 points, and it's a deal.

We are on the clock now fellas, who are we going to get?

No worthy trades as of now so we can just pick. Gonna pick in an hour, so get your choices in!!!

I'm thinking Alex Okafor out of Texas, homie brings the pass rush and I had him at 25 on my big board, he is still available...is there something I don't know?

T'eo was the only other cat way up on my big board that was still around, but that dude is going to get that Teebow kind of attention that can be bigger than the teams they play for.

Round 1 we got Warmack, round 2 we got Alex Okafor...pretty decent so far.

Great choice Dd. That's who I would have gone for. Well done.

If it were draft day for real, I'd probably be knocking the Okafor pick. Nothing against him, but I think better players were availble, like Montgomery.

Actually I see Montgomery falling in all the mocks, even to the 3rd round. It kind of reminds me a few years ago when everyone starting questioning Michael Johnson, who I wanted the Cards to draft badly, from GTech and he dropped all the way to the 3rd round. Now he just got the F tag placed on him by Cincy.

Agree, but can't see him falling out of round 2. Also, I have a hard time seeing him as a 3-4 OLB. Just doesn't look fluid enough.

I think he's much more athletic than Lamarr Woodley was when he was drafted by Pittsburgh out of Michigan. At Michigan, Woodley was pretty much a basic hand on the ground DE and I thought he was a terrible fit for a 3-4 OLB. Shows what I know.

Either way, Montgomery has shown more athleticism than Woodley and I think he's geting killed by overanalysis, much like Johnson did. Johnson dropped for many of the same reasons Montgomery is being questioned. However, I think Johnson was more athletic, and a better player, than Montgomery.

I'm throwing a monkey wrench in the monkey wrench. Some of the folks that have helped us out on this thread will now control the third and fourth picks. Much thanks to the folks that picked the 1st and 2nd round picks, I think we done good. We gots to spread this around though. :)

Third and fourth round Mikeys will be:

Cbus
Jetstreem Green
Cards Czar
Quagmire
Duckjake
Reddog
D-Dogg
Sam Wise

I will post the updated link when it is close to the Card's picks. Rank the players that you think will still be there in the third for now, say top 10? The mock is about 20 picks away from our pick (they are on pick #49).

Current Linky

Your top pick gets 10 points, your tenth pick gets 1 point. Whoever gets their picks in will help decide, whoever doesn't..akuna matada.

Tyler Wilson just went off the board (63rd pick), I was even kind of hoping he was there. T'eo went 49th!! Barkley been gone, the Florida QB might still be there but let me tab up this board real quick.

Cbus and Quag's board:

Jamie Collins 18 points
EJ Manuel 15 points
Justin Pugh 10 points
Kyle Long & Blidi Wreh-Wilson 9 points

No 8 pointers on the board, so I'm hoping all 5 of these cats don't get picked in the next five picks.

Jetstreem Green
Cards Czar
Duckjake
Reddog
D-Dogg
Sam Wise,
You guys still got time to get some picks in, only really need your top 5 choices at this point.
List of non-availables..

I'll stop changing my list, some of my players don't fit our scheme. Grab the pass rusher Collins or QB Manuel if they are there

New board scores: ( I like your list, but we can switch it back if you prefer)

Collins 19 points
EJ Manuel 16 points
Blidi 10 points
Kyle Long
I think you guys are tied on the big board for Minter/Reddick
