If we sign Pugh, and a WR, I'll go into the Draft feeling pretty good about the team. And then, in the draft, we select one of the "Big Four" or Mason Rudolph, I'll feel very good. And on day two we get a CB, a WR and an OL, I'll be off the charts. One more thing that the Cards have going for them, is that since my BB team lost, yesterday, I can now give the Az Cards my complete attention. :)

No ILB?

After the past two seasons, I'm in wait and see mode. Are we going to the the SK that hits on a lot of FA/Draft moves? I think that's what it will take to make the Cardinals winners again. I completely don't know what to expect from Wilks and his new staff. Wilks says all the right things and does have a presence about him, but I have been fooled before by coaches this team has brought in.

If I were to say I believe in this front office and coaching staff, I would be lying.

You're living in fantasy land. Reddick, big deal last year? In almost no action at the position?

How many games did you watch last year exactly? He may not have played many snaps at LB at the beginning of the year but it picked up after Golden was injured. In my book 36 tackles with 2.5 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles isn't a terrible year for a rookie. Now if you said he didn't live up to his draft position, well that another debate. I figure there is no reason to believe he won't be better this year, not sure if that qualifies as "beast" though.

The cardinals have not had me excited in a year and a half. I wonder if it’s just me who doesn’t get excited to watch the game on Sunday anymore. I can’t tell if it’s life or the cardinals are just crushing my fandom with mediocre off seasons and in season expectations that go as high as the basement floor.

You must not have been a fan during the SDS days as 8-8 was party time and high 5s all around. Being able to have years like this is cake . Try having off season after off season of 3 and 4 win seasons. You have it easy.

Yeah... in the last year and half I’ve been jacked by one half against TB and the two games at Seattle the last two years.

I mean, I was SUPER jacked before the 2016 season but that year was brutally disappointing.

Then they just punted on the entire 2017 and so did my passion for the year. It was clear to me I.T was going to be a treading water season and the moves made this season feel a lot like the same.

Hope to be proven wrong but I just see a team loading up on perennially injured guys... while completely ignoring WR and CB just like they did last offseason.

Almost all of that was at OLB, not ILB. Not that I have much hope for him moving forward. He's a project that we HOPE can develop into a solid contributor, definitely not a beast that will DEFINITELY get better. Another inexcusable Keim 1st round project.
