At least Dirk Koetter said he should be fired after the performance the Bucs had today. At least he is accountable for himself.

The good news is that Wilks is going to leave Bidwill no choice because he is going to continue to be who he is and that will lead to very few wins.

What is especially frustrating about this is his assumption that a 45 yard FG is basically automatic. By missing you not only gave Wilson the time he needed to win the game, you gave him the field position he needed to do it.

And for him to not even understand that roughly half the kickers right now have a 66% success rate or worse between 40 and 49 yards.

And yet he would do it again every time.

This coach is way over his head. Someone has to be held accountable.

On the post game again he takes zero responsibility for this crap.

Well who did he throw under the bus? Sounded like it was entirely his responsibility that last series.

Yeah, what is so hard to understand about one more first down, and you are guaranteed at least overtime.

You have 0% chance of a first down running it up the middle on 3 and 6 and about a 50% chance for at worst guaranteed overtime or a fg for the win with no time for them to respond.

To not even try, just to run clock to 2 minutes is idiotic considering every competent qb can go 50 yds with 2 minutes and no timeouts, and will succeed in doing so like 80% of the time.

So to me he was playing for the tie, and not the win.

Yep he doesn't understand the very percentages he is facing with his choices and then he is claiming he would keep doing the same thing after failing.

They’ve lost four straight games and it’s nobody’s fault. Coach Wilts has some great oceanfront property in Yuma for sale. Nothing to see here, move along, move along . . .

You can’t fire entire staff midseason it’s just not feasible.. You can let go of the head coach and let the offense of coordinator take over that would be a big mistake… You could fire the offense of coordinator and promote somebody… That might be possible because you’re not going to implement an entirely new system heading into week five
I actually think Wilks is holding McCoy back. Not going to sit here and say I love McCoy, but I bet our play calling would be better without Wilks and his conservative mindset.

I was troubled by the report about how excited he was at half time, seemed like there was plenty that needed fixing. Maybe wait until after the game to start patting each other on the back.

I think he may actually run out of steam at this pace. The criticism is just starting

I'll wait till the season is over for house cleaning of the coaching staff. Meanwhile, it was nice watching Rosen play and do well. However, I would dump Dawson. He was beat out during the preseason by McCrane who we dropped and now is the starting kicker for the Raiders. That really sucks.

Agreed. Send him packing. The rest of special teams is much improved. One bright spot

Now Chopper, you're a reasonable guy.

Was that Wilkes out there dropping passes and missing field goals?

I'm not saying he's a good coach by any means.

But I AM saying that, whether you guys like it or not, McCoy called a good enough game today to get the W, and several players just didn't execute (that group does not include Rosen, who was a revelation today).

I agree but I would fire Keim as well. The upcoming off-season could set this team up for a 5-10 year run if orchestrated properly. Not sure I trust Keim to handle that responsibility.
