that's great - the absolute exception to the rule. THAT proves a point like nothing else! Rice had pull away speed - something we really haven't seen from Q. Not to mention that Rice played in an era where speed and athleticism isn't at the levels that it's at now with today's athlete.

There are things that are not measurable or go unseen that make the difference between a great receiver and a good one. Receivers who adjust their routes, who recognize a blitz, who instinctively know where the QB might throw the ball, who make the slight move that gets them by the defender, who are team and not "me" players, and on and on. Jerry Rice was one of the great receivers of all time. Moss could be but may not be a team sort of guy. Boldin is much to raw to even measure how he may measure up in the long run. He could be great or he could be a one year wonder.

Hines Ward is just an all around good football player, the type you want on your team. Heck, he played 3 or 4 positions in college. Moss may have the best talent but it doesnt mean anything if you dont use it or not a team player. Even with his stats he didnt really reach his potential.

Hines Ward is probably one of the three best receivers in the league. Moss may be the best but he does have an attitude problem.

it's just that Walker actually made an impact with his one good year, whereas Boldin didn't.

LMAO, Rookie of the year, record holding rookie of all time, walker did better? please.
