I read that Dallas had a "pick" Sunday for the 1st time in their last (5) games. That tells me (2) things. #1./ They're NOT getting enough pressure on the QB's so they have more time to make accurate throws. ...And (2) their secondary is vulnerable right now. Every team has an achilles' heel. Since we're clearly a pass-happy team, I like our chances if we get into a shoot-out! GO CARDS!! A-HEM! THE 1st PLACE ARIZONA CARDINALS!! :D

We only had one too, until Green's pick last week.

That game to me has a few keys, we have to lockdown TO, we've had guys running free in our secondary the last 2 weeks at times, you do that with TO and it's a LONG day.

We have to do a great job on kick coverage with Felix Jones, that kid is lightning in a bottle.

AW against SF

Chike in Q1 vs the JEts

You're right. Forgot about that one last week for some reason. Maybe it's because nothing came out of that turnover......

On the flip side...Romo had a pick in his 8th straight game, yesterday...Longest active streak in the NFL.

yep and they had another one in the endzone but the guy missed it and it went straight to Crayton for the clinching TD.

he's a very good player but he will throw you some, you just have to catch them.

I thought that one went off of a Dallas receiver into Crayton's hands? I don't disagree with the point about Romo, just curious if you're thinking of the same play that I'm thinking of.

Jones taking a screen the distance is what I'm worried about, though he is dangerous on returns as well.

Yeah he's one of those guys you have to account for when he's on the field because he's so quick.

yeah that's exactly what happened. tony romo is who he is. of corse he doesn't want to throw picks. but asking him not to throw a ball into tight space is like asking marion barber to avoid contact. that's part of who he is and what makes him a good player. on that paticular play romo actually made one of his best throws of the game. he was very patient and waited for the WR to get open. What should of been a first and goal at the least wound up being a lucky break since austin dropped the ball. and again you don't get that lucky break if romo panics and throws the ball away after scanning through all of his reads. which probably would have been the safe thing to do. Miles austin is capable of making that catch. he has been a non factor after his great game vs GB.

very true. he has already scored on special teams. but he has been much more valuable in the backfield. besides owens....jones is the only other player on that offense who can score from anywhere on the field. and he has done it in every game(he has gotten at least one carry) aside from the philly game where he scored on special teams. to his defense in that game he only had 2 carries and was a shoe string away from breaking one of those two. which still leaves the question why this guy had 0 carries vs washington?

They had 2 WR's too close to each other so the first WR missed it, and it then went right through the second DB's hands and Crayton caught it.

I watched the play at least three times and I saw it go right through the hands of austin. I think the DB had a shot at it...not that I recall him even touching the ball. I'll look at it again to see. but nevertheless it was a great play by romo because he threw the ball right to his guy in a place where austin normally comes down with the ball. it was a great play by romo. but obviously still lucky.

actually the cowboys front 7 has done average to above average in the pressure dept. I'd say they were average in the game vs cincy, but really turned it on in the fourth qtr. for whatever reason they have not picked the ball. anthony henry had five interceptions at this point last season, but so far this year he has not been nearly as physical as he usually is. he is really playing off his man an awful lot. terrance newman is out probably for a while. adam jones is getting better by the game. he has given up 2 long passing plays. but he has been the only CB getting his hands on the ball. I've counted 3 balls that have hit him in both hands.....near his mid section at that. he's going to get one eventually.
