I know many of you used to post on the old AZPROSPORTS board and enjoy posting here now. I also post here a lot but I am a superstitious guy and think if everyone just posted once in a while at the old site maybe the magic will come back to life for the Diamondbacks. I'm not saying don't post here but maybe visit the other site also. Remember, when that board was busy the Diamondbacks were winning. I will understand if you guys don't want to but for those who visit I look forward to your posts. I don't think anyone is running the board but it still is there.

Every time I pass Shadow Mountain H.S., I try to picture what he looked like as a high school kid . . . and I can't do it!

Thanks, Brian, for posting those photos. My older son was about five years behind Curt at Shadow.

Curt38 was tall and husky then, as now! I had forgotten that he is 6'4". Of course, he started this season alot slimmer than he ended the last one.

It's ironic seeing photos of Curt in high school, just after taking a quick look back at the AzProSports board, at the suggestion of Zona90, and seeing photos of his son Gehrig accepting his World Series ring, while Curt warmed up in the bullpen.

I wish I had time to visit the AzProSports D'backs and Suns boards, as well as Arizona Sports Fans, but I don't. I did enjoy that site during its heyday.

But this site is as good as that was . . . with the exception of Curt38 not posting here!

Not quite yet. They are having technical problems today and the board should be back tomorrow.
