- 2 was horrible.

- Was the 2nd worst character behind Captain America in the Avengers.


These Marvel movies are turning into blow up CGI fests where you just count the seconds until you can get back to the story. Plot is important you know. Not just Splosions.

The Mandarin is the enemy. Meh.

Hes certainly no Joker.

Good plot is different from plot.


The story in Iron man 2 was trying to be way more sophisticated than this movie series is. It came off faux dramatic. Trying to be all psychological and explore Tonys daddy issues. It sucked.

And the explosions and 10 minute action scenes are boring. Im not 6 anymore. Bright lights and sounds dont hold my attention.

Scar Face. Where Tony is about to get chain sawed in the bathtub by those Haitians. Not a single fireball or drop of CGI and that was way more entertaining than 10,000 cars getting blown up and doing flipsies.


And while Im on the subject, Transformers movies also suck for that very reason.



Avatar - Nothing but CGI, but they proved you can make an awesome visual movie with a gripping plot. And, it goes to say, that plot was stolen from other great non-CGI movies such as dances with wolves.

Theres action scenes, but they are new and fresh. Big dragon creatures vs gun ships. Im just sick to friggin death of seeing countless cars and buildings get blown up. Its OLLLDDD.

scarface is for adults and iron man is for kids they make the movie to attract you but mostly to attract your children. Saying you are not 6 anymore is like going to a dreamworks g rated movie expecting drug use or graphic content of some kind.

It could be better, sure but it is aimed toward kids.

I havent seen any of the new superhero movies for this reason - just not my type of movie.

I disagree that the Iron Man films have all been aimed at little kids. They've been made for all the comic geeks. Comic geeks of all ages.

You don't have to be a comic geek to enjoy them, but it likely helps.

I think you're going to be wrong. Shane Black, legendary screenwriter of Lethal Weapon 1 and 2, The Last Boy Scout, The Long Kiss Goodnight and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is the co-writer/director. Dude was the guy who pretty much INVENTED the hard-edge action-comedy. The edge probably won't be as hard here as this is a summer tent-pole, but i wouldn't worry this sucker's made for teens.
