After they traded away our whole team if feels like.. I don't even know who is on this team.. Not expecting much.. If by some miracle we make the playoffs I will be pleasantly surprised..

We will have a better record this year. I like what they have done, but still not sure we can compete against the salary numbers the Doyers and Smallants are putting up.

DBacks, Suns and Cardinals had a competition this past year to see who could screw the pooch the best.. My optimism for AZ pro sports is at an all time low..

I for one am looking forward to the season (of course i say that every year). If the starting pitching holds up, we have a solid bullpen. Need Eaton to produce in the lead-off spot while the guys behind him produce runs. Would love to see Goldy have an all-star season. I really like the make-up of this team, now it's time to go to work!

I, too am excited. Line drives instead of popups. RBI's throughout the lineup. A great trio of 7-8-9 inning relievers. And a starting staff that could be anywhere from average to surprisingly (or maybe not surprisingly) good. Although none as good as Kershaw with his complete game shutout and homerun vs. the Giants today.

I'm pumped, I think his team will be surprisingly good. Solid and deep starting pitching wit a VERY good bullpen. I say 90 wins and playoffs

Well that was a pretty impressive opening day.. Could be a good season..

3B is better, 1B is better just for the fact that Goldschmidt will put up better numbers than last year, the OF is better (CY was a cancer, Upton was never as good as he got credit for) The bullpen is about the same.. I hope Bell can have a bounce back year. SP is my only question mark... I'm not sure Miley can reproduce what he did last year, and was 2011 a fluke for Kennedy or was 2012 the fluke? I'm not too concerned with the middle infield, Hill is solid, and when Bloomquist gets back he'll be an anchor at SS. Montero is Montero, never any concern there for me, he'd be my vote for team captain if we did that sort of thing in AZ

Don't get bummed! Yet. If BJ had been brought here to replace Chris Young as Justin's mentor, it might have gotten him off to a fast start. Or maybe not. It is way too early to tell.

Got some real surprise players thus far. Didi took pretty much everyone by surprise. Not sure I heard anything good about his bat prior to the season. Then you have Corbin who is lighting it up so far. A lot to be exited about for this year and hopefully the future as well.
