McFadden ran well for the first few years, but the plays weren't drawn up to utilize his strengths and he had alot of carries given away to an inferior backs (like Fargas). The difference is that Wells is more injury prone. Time will tell, but one wonders why Beanie isn't being used more effectively. Especially when Hightower refuses to secure the ball with two hands while being tackled
McFadden gets hurt more than Beanie does, he's constantly got a tight hammy or a calf muscle problem. Even this year he got hurt.
AS a runner his problem was vision, he just ran straight ahead and tried outrun people or run through them, he's more patient this year.
Beanie's got the vision and the patience, just needs to learn to not go down when people get to his feet, he has to step through or over some hits.
