If that is the case, then don't we still need a DE just as much as we did? Most mock drafts seem to think we solved our outside pass rusher need with this trade. So is DE still a top priority in the draft?

I see him listed as one and/or the other all over the web.

Our D plays so much hybrid that he Will Line up different places. In our traditional 3-4 D he'll Line up at OLB but I expect him to play a more traditional DE in passing situations.

I'm overall very satisfied With the NT, DE and OLB positions for this season, but With a draft Loaded at DL I wouldn't mind Keim going BPA at 3-4 DE due to the age of CC, Rucker and Redding

Not a huge need, but if the Cardinals go BPA at #29, there is a chance a DT/DE will be the pick.

I think the defensive line on this team has a good mix of veterans, and young potential.

I think Campbell will get an extension. Cory Peters is a wildcard, and Rodney Gunter showed A LOT of promise for a rookie.

The current penciled in defensive line, IMHO is:

DE: Campbell
NT: Peters
DE: Gunter

I have no issues with that lineup.

I think Golden will continue to develop too, and Jones' presence should only help.

Heading to a drizzly Dbacks loss today, wish it was September and headed to Jiffy Pop instead!

Having Jones is going to make both Golden & Okafor much better. And I love that interior three of CC, CP, & RG

I think it's a misnomer to say this a good mix of vets and young potential. I see vets and one young guy that has potential to be more then just a journeyman in Gunther.

To me this is starting to feel like the Graves/Whis days of neglecting a position high in the draft in their case O-line Dan Williams the last high round draft pick spent on the D-line JMO we are due to upgrade some of these journeyman type guys with some more tslent.

With that being said if we don't upgrade this year it becomes a next year must, that's just how it goes I guess, I hope BASK will be proactive before it gets to the most draft senerio.

Jones will be an OLB is base defenses, and a DE in sub packages. End of story.
