What a dumb%&# he seems to do crap like that alot. My memory may be bad, but he seems to make a great play and then get some of the dumbest penalties.

What are you talking about? The guard moved and Dockett is entilted to engage the blocker.

Engage not destroy because the guy flinched. If he was entitled then it wouldn't have been a pentalty...I didnt hear our announcers compaining about the call.

The Cards radio announcers sure complained about the call. Said it was bogus and a "preseason" call.

Yup, the refs are dogging us hard today. Talk about home town calls.

Big difference between being aggressive like Dockett and procedure penalties that Big got.

It was a dumb penalty, but D-Dock is bringing the fire this year. There was a false start called but if you look at him on the snap there, he EXPLODED off the ball. He was double teamed almost every play, and getting push. He's looking great and his attitude is ferocious.

Stupid mistake on his part but I think he'll get enough grief for it...but the mindset behind it is perfect: Blow those fools up, shove them on their ass and stick their precious QB a foot deep in the dirt as soon as humanly possible.

I had no problem with it either. Don't forget that bogus PI call on Rolle in the endzone on a ball that was clearly overthrown on a 3rd and long gave the Raiders the first 7, not the Dockett penalty.

I don't get the penalty. The guard moved and he hit him. Dockett is extremely aggressive and some times that works against him. Can anyone explain what he did to be penalized?

Did he deserve the penalty? I'm not sure. We don't know what had been going on between Dockett, the defense and the refs. It wasn't clear.

He deserved the penalty, but I don't really blame him for getting it. He drove himself through the lineman.

I didn't like the nocall on the ball thrown to Fitz by the endzone .. the DB really pushed off his back ... and the call on Antrel was iffy because he was going for the ball ... am I looking at it with rose colored glasses or does anyone else see these things ... ???

The rest of the calls were alright ...

I dont think you are being a homer

Either both plays were PI or neither of them were

I think Dockett deserved the penalty -- he was way more physical than he needed to be.

Are we playing football? You can't hit the QB and now you can't hit an OL?
Are you suppose to stand an point when an OL moves? I still don't get it.
I wish more of the Cardinals played aggressive and physical like Dockett.

I agree. The guy in front of him moves and he blows through him. That's what he is supposed to do.

I so agree with you, I hate the alternatives, one of which seems to be pointing your finger at the offending lineman and gesticulating at the official, put him on his a** I say!

That aggressiveness paid off later when McCown tried a quick drop pass to the right side. When Josh bobbled the ball Dockett blew him up.

Not after the whistle blows though. That is why it is unnecessary. I didn't mind that penalty that much though. It was the PI against Rolle that really got me upset.

Watch the replay--

the guy flinches, nothing happens for another moment, and then Dockett tees off on him.

Had Dockett simply gone on movement, probably no penalty

Had Dockett hit him, but then pulled up, probably no penalty
