Dayamn yall, don't hold back or nothin. :D

He's had enough time to prove otherwise.. at a certain point, the potential is just never going to be realized.

A TE picked after him (Jordan Cameron in CLE) has been lighting it up this year, and Housler now has fewer career TD catches (0) than Jim Dray!

He was bad today. Dropped one, wasn't looking nearly leading to an INT.

On the Dray TD it actually worked because of Housler and the WR split out. The defense all went with those 2 leaving Dray uncovered, but Housler isn't pulling his weight right now.

I can't remember any non-QB getting as much hype as Housler. Guy has rendered himself worthless.

Great White Hype.

As I said on today's game thread, he should have been included in the Levi Brown trade.

Today was a very bad game for Housler. Dropped a pass and then wasn't looking when CP hit him in his hand. If I'm CP I'm thinking I have to drill it into his earhole on his helmet for him to "catch" it.

Housler and Ryan Williams are my siren's song. I keep falling for the hype.

Of course we don't cut him today but the position needs to be upgraded next year.

Why not upgrade it now? Bench Housler and play Sperry.

Unless he picks up his play, BA is probably going to have to use more 3 WR sets and fewer 2 TE formations. He's been a big disappointment especially considering all the off-season hype. Too many drops and a liability as a blocker.

I loved watching the game on TV & using super-slowmotion, the analyst show Housler not ready on a quick slant and the pass literally hits his hand. But since he is not looking, the ball just tips off his fingers.

Palmer could not have walked over and placed it in Housler's hands any better.

I have already said my piece in concerns of the hype machine

Housler has had the chance to prove he sucks WAY more than Williams has had...

I don't think that Housler "sucks". I just don't think that he's that good. He's certainly not a "superstar", as our GM was saying outright just seven or eight months ago. He's just a slightly below-average NFL starting TE.

Ryan Williams is garbage who probably doesn't belong on an NFL roster, and hasn't even illustrated that he belongs in the league outside of some preseason practices three years ago and one carry last August (that promptly sent him to the training room).

I'd say that the hype/reality gap between Ryan Williams and Rob Housler is greater in the former due to draft status and continuing unsupported nonsense.

It's madness that neither have scored a pro TD yet.

+1. And while I always appreciate the points you give, and they are very valid in this case.

I don't have the technical points, or valid arguments to back it up, but I think he sucks, and to go into it more than that statement, is a waste.

2 years of arguing about a player who obviously just doesn't get it, is enough for me. He sucks until he actually does something, and I mean something on tape for us to see that effects a game in a positive fashion.

Until then he is a passive, unintelligent, and poor football player.

Korry Sperry please.

It is just really hard to get on board with a marginal, young player that does not put in a max effort. He had two balls he could have dived for, and he dived on neither.

No way a tight end should go the whole game and finish with a clean jersey.
