We've all heard his stance on this. The front office promised Anquan a new deal before the beginning of the season, that didn't happen and now Anquan feels strongly enough about this that he is unwilling to re-up with us.
So, CAN they make this right with him?
It's clear that Boldin has his principles and keeping a word is one of them. They broke a promise to him and now he's done with them. Can they sit down with Anquan, one to one (no agents, no coaches) and apologize to him. Say, "Yes, Anquan... we screwed up. But we have gone through so much together, you have been such a huge part of helping us come of age as a unit. We both want the same thing, how can we show you that we deserved a second chance?”. Can they explain their side? Surely they have a logical explanation...
The organization certainly took care of him after his 2nd year.
Or, is Anquan just shutting it all, unwilling to hear anything we have to say?
That is the question....
