This is a great opportunity for Gortat. He was never going to take his game to the next level playing behind Howard.

I can't believe we have a close to 7 foot guy who plays defense and blocks shots. I'm still waiting for the alarm clock to ring so I can wake up from this awesome dream lol.

Don't worry. By next week we'll have taught him how to play matador defense and pop from distance. I really hope I'm kidding.

Have you ever taken a single regular cigarette and put it into a pack of menthols? A day later its a menthol.

I did not know that and I was a smoker for the first 150 years of my life. I hate menthol cigarettes and taking a hit off one was all it would take for me to opt in to the bulimia lifestyle. Fortunately, no one I knew was informed enough or mean enough to experiment on my cigarette packs that way.

I've decided to look at this trade as evidence that we are going to begin going in the right direction. Adding 2 solid defenders at the expense of 2 weak defenders is a great first step, IMO.

That's a pretty good translation actually, but I can do better :)

"I'm already done with my physical, which went good. Everything is going so well that I feel like I could, already today, debut in the Phoenix Suns colors in the game against the San Antonio Spurs."
(I don't think he actually means that he would play but only that he could if it were up to him).

Some other stuff from the website:

Gorat will wear number 4 (his 13 obviously already taken) in the honor of his basketball mentor Sasha Obradovic.

Anyone want me to translate his thoughts on the trade, or is the automatic translation good enough?
Its finally beneficial to know how to speak and read Polish :D
