To have a realistic shot at the Super Bowl, the Cardinals need to have home-field throughout the playoffs. I hope the stadium is as loud as ever for 60 minutes because the guys will definitely need the 12th man to play a part if they want the win.

To beat the Seahawks, the Cardinals will need to win it by defense and running the ball successfully. Also, need to limit the mistakes and take advantage when Seattle turns the ball over.

Peter King just reported on NBC that Arians told him that there are going to be packages with Logan Thomas in at QB. I can't wait for this game.

I don't think Arians would have it any other way but have it come down to us vs Seattle next week.

It's going to be a great game, at least until the second half when they realize that they are in way over their heads and the season comes to a crashing halt. We forfeit the 49ers game for good measure.

You know that might be pure genius.

If you limit the number of things the kid has to think about with the extra prep time you could easily design packages for each QB.

That just increases things the other side has to deal with.

I had a feeling that BA would do this with Logan, but I think it would've been smarter to not tell the media...now the Hawks will prepare for some of things he did well at VT though not many :D

You can't count the Cardinals out. They have shown all year how resilient they are when faced with adversity but the odds are definitely not in their favor. The Cards QB situation is a mess and it's going to take the game of their lives to win against Seattle.

Not likely. Rare a crew draws the same team 2 weeks in a row.

If the Cards can beat Seattle next week with the mess they have at QB, the magical season will continue and I would expect to see them in the SB. If this team can win with Stanton at the helm, they should also be able to do so with either Thomas or Lindley. Don't count them out.

And we had no chance of beating the hot Rams team either.....

Comparing the 2 are only slightly differant lol;)
And that was also with a somewhat competent QB. It's gonna be a monumental task no doubt

I agree with the terrible officiating in this game. I should be used to the Seahawks getting calls. Not saying SF was going to win this game, but there were 2 plays that would have been 3 PTs each, but instead resulted in 2 Tds. First was a run play by lynch and there was a clear hold by reciever. Ended up being a 1st down instead of 3 and long. Second was the roughing the passer penalty called on the 3rd down. Of course, next play or second play was a td. So, score being 17-7 is way different then 13-7. Playbook changes.

Dislike the Seahawks. But I HATE Pete Carroll.

It's a battle between the number 2 "us" and the number 3 "them" defenses, "in terms of PPG".

This is a scratch and claw game, get turnovers and don't give them. Run the football, field position is critical as will be points on drives.

If we can get 4 or more big chunk plays from our offense that would be HUGE and about all we can ask for.

They have to come up with something here.

We're going to need 19 points minimum to win I think, 4 field goals and one TD would do it.

It's going to be war.

At least (looking at the NFC South) we aren't going to be the worst team ever to make the playoffs. Gawd, that still irks me.

Yeah but that would make us the worst team ever to get to the Super Bowl and we um... weren't at all we almost won it.

The people who said that were .... wrong... :D

I think the defense can hold Seattle to 17 or less so 19 is about right.

I fink the reality is we're gonna be playin the Taints, Falcs or Panthers. Unless we pull off a miracle next week without an NFL caliber QB.

Next week is the Superbowl for the Cards.

Beat Seattle and the division and home field is in their grasp.
Lose and go on the road or rely on the Rams to beat Seattle.

I agree with this, but I also find it funny how everyone--myself included--has us dead in the water every week and we keep winning, and yet say teams like GB can't lose, and they lose.

I just hope that fans haven't sold their tickets to this game like last year. That was one of the most pathetic sights I've ever seen. We have the opportunity to blast them out of there, so long as our "fans" haven't already scalped their tickets to the pasty legged coffee drinkers like they did last year.
