We’re 1 & 5 since our bye week, against one of the softest schedules in the league. Are you willing to still say we were “competing for the post season?”
Yes, still eligible in December is progress. Injuries, exhaustion due to a lack of roster depth caught up with the Cards.

Sorry Harry… our defense has played well enough in most games over this final stretch to put the team in positions to win.
It’s at this point of the season when QB play becomes paramount. Period. All top-tier QB’s have the ability to raise the level of their play in moments that count the most.
Hell, even Sam Darnold and a first year rookie in Daniels have done it.
Murray is the chief reason for yet another second half swoon… Period.

Yes. We competed and we lost 3 of those games within a single score.

Did we compete enough? Hell no. Competing isn't the same as accomplishing. We competed without accomplishing.

Am I happy with the direction of this team without a major offensive shakeup going forward? Also no.

Noticed Bickley reached the same conclusion I did. 2025 is likely Murray’s last chance to establish a favorable Cardinal legacy.

I think it’s a unanimous opinion Harry. A good portion of the fan base actually doesn’t even want to give him another year. I disagree. One more year and that’s it! No more excuses

Too bad @MadJack is no longer making his banners for game days. Imagine some of the suggestions we could come up with for Kyler's 7th season.
Hey. Brian! MadJack here. One of the biggest reasons I bailed out on the Cardinals was when they started censoring any of my banners that were deemed negative in any way.

I could no longer express what most fans felt and was forced to be a kiss asser or no banner allowed. So ripping Kyler on the banner would have been not allowed I assure you.

Sometimes upholding your honor and principles are the most important thing, agree?

It’s really pathetic that the franchise’s attitude killed one of all of our favorite traditions for the Cardinals… of which there are so few.

Totally agree and remember when they began "approving" and/or "not allowing" your banners. What a joke that was.

Based on the contract that he signed, 2025 was always going to be the final year Murray had to prove he has what it takes. It's also the first year that the Cards could realistically move on from him if they really wanted to. I think they stick with Kyler for one more year to see if it can work.

Maybe it all changes in year 7! (or maybe we learn again what we've already learned over the last 6 years). I wonder what is more likely!?!

The problem is the most likely way to get a franchise qb is to bottom out with a crap quarterback…. Kyler is not crappy enough….only thing we can do now is build up the defense and get a stud guard and hope for the best …

Let's all get fired up about Kyler Murray being our QB1 in 2025! Lets goooooooo! :)
Been there, done that, paid $20 for the tee-shirt. It wore out the first time I put it on. So no thanks, I figure he's coming back so I'll be rooting for him and you. But I sure hope we build the defense and let them carry us to a championship.

Actually, no, not necessarily. Look at where the top QBs of today were drafted:

Burrow (high)
Mahommey (not high)
Allen (high)
Jackson (not high)
Love (not high)
Hurts (not high)

There are more good QBs that were drafted high as well. Point is, you don't have to bottom out to get a great QB. You just have to be great at assessing and drafting the correct QB. The guy I stanned for prior to his draft was Big Ben, and the Stillers got him later in the 1st. Now, I'm happy with who we got, but Big Ben supports my point :)

Can you imagine this site if we took a Qb with our first pick and keeping Kyler in 2025?
The first incomplete pass of 2025 would have us screaming for the change! Lol.
Do you think this staff believes Tune is our future qb?
