Think about this.....Philadelphia beat Carolina by 28 points and had less yards. I think they had like 266 total!! Anyway when we went through our playoff run...We caused like 3 turnovers a game. It really does make a HUGE difference. In fact I think it actually can make a good team SUPER BOWL worthy. (Look at us) But if you win the Turnover battle you usally win the game. The difference in the SF game was ...we didn't get turnovers and the one we did...we got screwed on. If our defesne can start casuing Turnovers we will win alot of games.

We need to cause 3 turnovers against Jacksonville...and us only lose 1. If that happens I see a fairly easy victory. The Cards whole life span has really come down too...can they cause more TO's then they make. I remember countless games...if we get 1 more turnover we would have won. SF numerous times. So they really need to emphasize this to the defesne....go for the BALL.

NO...!!! In our case it is due to a QB who is hurt, and a Head Coach who has let his ego get the better of himself and the team...!!! Whiz needs to recognize that Kurt is hurt, Matt is more than ready, Beanie and TH should play in the same backfield at the same time. Beannie and break the big one and TH is the second coming of Larry Centers out of the Backfield as a reciever.

Really, you can say the same thing for every single game, every single week of the season. Very few teams can commit a lot of turnovers and still win. The Rams teams with Warner were one of the few that could get away with more than two turnovers, or a negative turnover ratio, on a pretty regular basis.

NO...!!! It its turnovers plain & simple. But yes Warner is to blame. Warner needs to tell Whiz himself to start Leinart until he is 100%. Warner is hurting the team right now.

Beanie needs the bulk of the carries, and TH needs to be our 3rd down back.

Absolutely. ABSOLUTELY. Have you seen the Cards record the past few years when they do not win the turnover battle? It's like .100. It's horrible.

Thats a league thing. I forget specificantly the #'s but if a team is +1 in the turnover battle at the end of the game, they win like 70% of the time and the number drastically goes up if your +2 or more.

There is not a more telling stat in pro football than the turnover margin.

It is a league thing. Losing 90% of your games is bad, even compared to the league average.

So wait, so you are saying that if the other team has more opportunities to score and we have less.... that they have a better chance of winning???

Big BQ!
We just need to be more precise all the way around, the TO's will drop, the penalties will drop, etc. we are playing like its still August.

Eagles also scored on defense and on special teams, that could change the yardage.

well if the one turnover we had for a score was correctly ruled, we probably would have won the game despite a bad showing on offense. so yes, it certainly is about turnovers.
