It's hard to be rational right now, but Warner's gotta go.

That was just pathetic. He handed his old team a win on a platter.

We now head on the road for 3 games against outstanding teams. We're looking at coming back home 1-5 or 2-4, and all the excitement and momentum the team brought into the season will be gone.

F**k Kurt Warner. Seriously. Lots of things went wrong in this game (including the most amateurish officiating I've ever seen in the NFL - which hurt both teams) but all he had to do on two occasions was hold on to the ball and he didn't.

You've got to wait till Wednesday or Thursday before you make that decision.

Give yourself a chance to cool off.

I concur. Warner "should" be benched but he won't be. There's no way Leinart will be thrown to the wolves next week in Atlanta. Warner will be given enough rope to hang himself(hang himself more) and Green will earn a little more time.

I have to agree, if you can't trust your QB to make a clean exchange with the center with the game on the line..... or not fumble 9 times in 3 games, where is your team going?

Kurt gets one more game. If he plays anywhere near the level he has played for these 2 past games, he's on the bench and never seeing the playing field again as a Cardinal

I agree with you but in 3-4 weeks the season may be over and Leinart needs to start playing. This loss would seriously impact most teams but a team like the Cards will not recover from it.

Absolute killer!

As much as I want to say I'm mad right now and that's why I want to see Warner go, I just don't think the Cardinals can win w/o holding on to the ball.

And what is the source of them not being able to hold on to the ball? Warner. 9 fumbles. A bunch of picks - some of which aren't his fault, but most of which ARE.

Gotta agree with all you said. If it were any QB besides Warner and his personal reputation I'd be asking if he owed the mob a big debt or something. Its the closest I've ever seen anyone come to looking like they were trying to lose a game.

Leinart will not start next week on the raod at Atlanta. But, if the Cardinals come back 1 - 3, Matt will get the shot.

I was so SO infuriated... I was almost at the point of tears. My wife yelled at me for getting so pissed off, but WTF!? To give a game to a bunch of panty wastes like Holt, Bruce and Bulger? Maybe its a blessing in disguise though. Maybe next week begins the grooming of #7.

I agree. Matt won't start against the Falcons unless we find out that Kurt has a concussion or something.

Good point. They probably won't christen Leinart on the road. But when they come home 1-3 or 1-4 (is KC a road game?) then Warner will begin his retirement.

He can still really throw the ball, but he doesn't handle pressure at all anymore. And he turns it over like mad.

I know you don't want to hear this, but Milford Brown knocked the ball right out of KW's hands on that last play.

You can't put that last one on Kurt.

Is that enough to move anyone back over the "bench Warner" threshold?

They both need to stay after the game and practice snapping the ball.

They could practice all week non-stop frop now until Saturday and I still don't want to see either of them on the field on Sunday.

DAMN!!!!!!!! :bang:

Warner should be benched - i dont want to hear any of this Denny crap. This is all on Warner.

Let the Leinart era begin. Maybe we will catch lightning in a bottle and he will lead us to the promised land. That being 8-8 of course....

Throwing the pass to a wide open dexter coakley is what did me in.

Last week he underthrew the ball right to a defender. I don't think his arm is holding up on him.

Completely agree about him not being able to handle pressure.

My god! I feel your pain guys. Gosh darnit, **** arhghgshf! We had the game! The whole team was playing well, even the o-line which was average was much better but his 4 turnovers killed us! I think he should get 1 more chance to redeem himself for an unexcusable, what is it...14 turnovers this season? If he doesen't have a good game next week he needs to be benched. Wow...and this is me who hates fans who call for a QB switch and start the QB controversies but Warner really deserves it.

What pressure? When he threw the picks no one was near him

Nope.

You know how many times that happens in a game where an OL's hand or body bumps into the QB's hand right after the snap. It happens a lot. If this was Warners first time then maybe I could buy what your selling but Warners lack of being able to hold onto the ball properly goes beyond that. Any other QB would not have fumbled that IMO. Maybe I am just being harsh on the guy but that is how I feel.
