OL men prefer to run block vs pass block so I suspect you will see an emphasis on the run game

This was a press conference not a job interview. Big difference.
Very much agree with this. It's one thing to show nerves in a televised press conference and and a completely different thing if he were this nervous in an interview behind closed doors. Personally I probably would have a hard time thinking at all if I was in front of the cameras.

Let this guy do the job.

There are many chefs in the Cardinals' kitchen---

But let this guy call the shots.

He is THE football guy.

Let him hire the HC.

Let him listen to the panel---

But let him make the salary cap decisions---

Let him---with the input from the new HC---pick the QBs---

And let him make the picks in the draft.

Give him 3-4 years and let's see what happens.

I like Keim---I think he's a grass roots, lunch pail kind of guy....

This organization needs leadership and direction.

Yes, it's a team effort and I get that---but, at the end of the day, what we really need is a leader at the top.

We've hired him---he's earned it and paid the dues.

He said, "Arizona is my home."

I believe him through and through.

He pushed for Adrian Wilson and Anquan Boldin.

That's enough right there to satisfy me.

Let him go to work---

Just as he asked the media to let him do...

Loved that!

We have to stop waffling and wasting time---we need an aggressive and committed plan.

Go get us back into NFL relevance...

It's Keim Time---let him call the shots.

This type of plan seems to work for the winners in the NFL. The Cowboys, Cards and some few others have their own way of doing things. If we let the GM do what a GM is supposed to do then we know who to praise or lay blame on for success or failure. As it is now we really do not know who to blame for our failures other than the Bidwill family. Jerry Jones and the Bidwills (in the past at least) want to be the pilot of the plane even though they have not been through pilot training. Like the Bidwills Jerry Jones is preparing his son to take over some day.

I agree. I just couldn't help myself. I'll judge him by the job he does. I did love hearing him say that our OL needs physicality & that we'll keep drafting QB's. Regardless of who's fault it was, the Cardinals went backwards when they didn't find a replacement for Warner.

Probably just has a regular pilots license and not a Transport Pilot Rating. To haul people around commercially you need that Transport Rating. Much much more difficult to get.

I may be putting too much onto Keim....but he needs to really make the correct choices in the following days and months:

(1) HC....not sure how much say he has in this one but hopefully he'll be happy with the choice at HC and more importantly OC. If our offense sucks like last year we're in for a longer than last year ride....if that's possible.

(2) The draft....this should be one of his stronger areas....we need o-lineman...pass rushers....and running backs...and of course QB's. With Kolb's health issues QB may be the most important pick.

(3) Free agents and dead weight....not sure how many FA's we can afford but maybe cutting some dead weight could help.....Bradley should definately go and maybe Doucet.....some are even mentioning DD's name....you can cut Lindley and Skeleton at QB....keep Hoyer and Kolb and pick up a QB in the draft.

What an opportunity missed IMO. I have seen over and over again when coaches are fired and assistants are promoted. It rarely works out and ends up being a subtle shift but basically more of the same.

When did things start to change around here? When we found the right coach in Whiz who changed the attitude around here. I see the GM in a similar spot. Hire outside. Hire someone with experience and a different way of doing things.

I think the Cards missed the boat. I hope I am wrong and the guy turns things around. I am just not holding my breath. As stated above this could really be more about Michael and his increased input more than anything and putting a yes man in the job. We have seen that work out so well for the Suns.
